I built my dream browser !!
Can't go back after this...
Meet Bay: a calm, beautiful browser for Mac
We beat all the competition in the market
Less memory, less cpu and overall smoother and quieter streams
Downstream is the one stop solution for all

Introducing Downstream: native Markdown for React Native, built for streaming AI replies.
Pass it the text as it grows. Finished blocks are laid out once, only the tail is redrawn, and parsing runs in native code, so your JS thread stays free.
iOS + Android. MIT. 🧵

I'm building Bay, an open-source browser for the Mac alternative to arc. Your tabs, finally in order.
Bay 1.6 is out today:
• Tidy Tabs sorts your tabs into topic groups, on your Mac with Apple Intelligence. ⌘Z puts them back.
• Tidy Downloads gives files with machine names, like IMG_20261024_8812.pdf, names you can find
• A built-in ad blocker, written in Rust, replaces uBlock Origin and uses 71% less memory
• 5× less CPU at idle, and a faster sidebar and command bar
• The library opens in the sidebar
• Change a space's theme from the sidebar
• Undo and redo in the search bar
Keep the requests coming.

did you try bay? teapawt.net/KrishKalaria/status/21…
Bay uses rust based ad blocker rather than shipping ublock origin entirely
it means, on every tab, bay has cut down ~71% of memory making it more faster
Bay is now on @MacBaseApp !!
Check it out - macbase.app/apps/bay

Spaces, a sidebar that stays tidy, Peek, Split View and ads blocked out of the box, on Chrome's own engine.
Bay 1.5.4 is out today:
• Drive Bay from your terminal with the new bay command. Your coding agents can use it too.
• Pin a split view
• Clear cookies and cache from the command bar
• Hide the space header if you only use one space
• Drag spaces to reorder them
• A new welcome onboarding flow
• Choose Stable or Nightly updates
Keep the requests coming.

Introducing Legend Spark!
It’s a React Native desktop framework for really fast desktop apps with React Native and Expo.
The biggest gaps in RN on desktop have been getting started, Expo compatibility, and modules. So I’m trying to fix all of that.
Let's make apps super fast!
