Robots on this website are very intent on convincing me that “Anakin Skywalk-to-the-polls” is the hilarious new meme among hip, young right-wing men

You can discount today’s NYT polls because they were taken before Republicans embraced the “we’re like the evil galactic empire from Star Wars” message that is sure to counter voters’ concerns about falling real wages.

Aya Shida is the Art Director for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake!
She worked on wildlife art for Breath of the Wild, then she became Senior Lead character artist on Tears of the Kingdom, and now she is the Art Director for Ocarina of Time.

Okay now I know for certain these people haven’t seen the films because what do you mean Anakin yearns to return to his life of slavery in a crime ridden wasteland controlled by the mob

One of the most annoying tendencies of the right in recent times is their adoption (and degradation) of random things from pop culture as mascots which are integrated into their kitschy, sloppy, tumblr-esque amalgamation of an identity for their culture war nonsense

Thing is, in popular culture I don’t think there’s a more obvious allegory for being manipulated by Satan into destroying yourself and the people you love than Anakin in Star Wars and these people somehow still fall for it as being something admirable or (positively) relatable

Disillusioned pampered young men rejecting the their good potential to become annoying self righteous Vader-worshipping pawns for a puppet master playing on their insecurities?
That could never happen.
🚨ALERT: Experts are concerned that Anakin Skywalker is becoming a symbol of right-wing extremism.

Unable to produce artworks of their own, the low-openness low-IQ right is just casting themselves as the villains in various liberal sci-fi and fantasy properties.

Excited to see how the “we’re like the Empire, from Star Wars” messaging plays out in the midterms

Humanity is trapped in an eternal discourse loop. Every question has been answered. “What if women dress like whores at the gym?” Plato speaks of this! Republic, Book V!

The difference is Hunter was able to transition as a child avoiding the worst of male puberty, while Elliot transitioned as an adult after going through a female puberty.
Most Trans Women don’t pass as well as Hunter because we went through a permanent masculinizing puberty.
This is a photo of Hunter Schafer & Elliot Page after their surgeries
One thing I’ve never been able to understand is why male to female transitions often look so natural & successful, while female to male transitions usually look incomplete or forced. @grok , pls answer this!

- 20 a favor
