so many people train for an analytically perfect swing. nothing wrong with that, have to have a “good swing”. However, if you train 1 swing against 1 pitch, how many tools in the toolbox do you have? “Build” swings by training shapes. Create a rolodex!

I have no idea who this is that we just reposted, but I just took a look at his data from the @BaseballCzech @Blast_Bsbl Portal and it’s really really nice. Bat Speed ranges around 70-75 (depending on intent) and it’s an 80% On-Plane Efficiency. Really nice. I’ve seen players have very successful collegiate careers with far worse metrics. This plays. Looks like he’s a 2025 grad and uncommitted.
