They’ll say I’m crazy, but to me, Fuji greeted us through the waves on the lake.
A truly epic moment...

This gesture of holding both hands tightly is one of the most beautiful symbols I brought back from Japan.
Here I am with Etsuko from Café Monogataru, after our first K-Connection. But I experienced this same gesture with several other people, in such a similar, heartfelt, and almost solemn way that it truly touched my heart.

I’ve added some new cool features to my #hiroshi app for the #nintendo3ds ❤️
I’m overwhelmed by the massive interest you showed in HIROSHI my friends!
I’m still bugfixing/improving the UI but I’m already using the app to produce my next album (Kamo sound bath). Both the album and the app will be released sometime during the next month (dec ‘26).
In the meantime if you have any ideas/suggestions, you’re more than welcome to comment :)
Thank you!

Behold HIROSHI, an ambient music workstation I’ve working on for the #Nintendo3DS
Full FM synth/4 types of sequencers/Soundfont support/+ lots of algorithmic generators ❤️
My 3DS Radio app now supports news, weather and webcams from around the world while you listen to online radio ❤️😀
Today I built a radio garden clone for my 3DS so I can listen to my favorite radio stations from around the world on my favorite console ❤️😀
Last time I saw a full moon I was in Kyoto.
Today, I’m watching her from my kitchen window in Buenos Aires thinking about how many full moons will I have to wait until the comeback…

Hello Japan, we’re finally here ❤️
Over the next few weeks, we’ll perform our music in Kyoto, collaborate with Japanese artists, create live music for a Contact Improvisation session, bring artists together at K-CONNECTION, share our story at PechaKucha Night Kyoto, meet and perform with FOR/M Kyoto, take part in Cosquín en Japón, make music with children in Fukushima, and close this journey with a very special performance at a museum in Sagamihara.
There will also be cafés, parks, encounters, recordings, new songs, and probably many beautiful things we don’t even know are going to happen yet.
21 years ago, we started making music inspired by a place more than 18,000 kilometers away from our home.
Today, we are here.
With our instruments, our music, and our little family.
Japan Tour ’26 begins now. 🇦🇷❤️🇯🇵
京都、ただいま。
Kyoto, we’re coming home.
In this 21-year journey of composing music inspired by Kyoto, next Wednesday, September 23rd at 12:30 PM (Japan time), something wonderful will happen in our lives.
In a cozy café in Kyoto’s Kitano neighborhood, Jesica and I will perform our songs live for an audience for the very first time.
We’ll prepare a small set featuring some of our most representative songs, share the story behind The Kyoto Connection, and experience the realization of a dream that somehow always feels like it’s only just beginning.
Thank you, CAFÉ FROSCH, for welcoming us with such warmth!
It will be a joy to make you an important part of our story. We hope to become a little part of yours, too. ❤️
@Cafe_Frosch
I love creating, and I’ve realized over the years that what I love creating is not only music. I love creating experiences, encounters, moments that somehow leave a mark, ideas that begin as something almost invisible inside us and slowly become real enough to be shared with someone else. Sometimes they become a song, sometimes an event, sometimes a community, and sometimes, apparently, they become something I want to print on a T-shirt and wear on my chest.
That’s why on September 27th I’ll be wearing this one as I host K-Connection at Cafe Monogataru in Kyoto, a gathering of artists united by their love for this city, where musicians, poets, dancers, painters, photographers, craftspeople and other creators will come together simply because we love creating, and because somehow Kyoto makes us want to create even more.
❤️

In a few weeks, we’ll be in Kyoto for K-Connection — a community gathering bringing together local and international artists through music, art and creative exchange.
It will take place at Cafe Monogataru, a beautiful little café in Yamashina that opened its doors to this idea.
As a small thank-you, I wrote them a song 🌿

Is it necessary?
As an artist, that’s the only question that prevents my creative decisions from becoming noise in a world already full of everything.
🇦🇷🇯🇵 We are incredibly happy to announce our return to Japan!
From September 17 to October 17, 2026, we'll be traveling across Japan to share our music, reconnect with dear friends, collaborate with inspiring people, and write a new chapter in the love story between The Kyoto Connection and Japan.
Several cities and events are already confirmed, but we're still excited to discover new places, meet new people, and embrace whatever experiences this journey may bring.
We'll be sharing all the latest updates here and on*thekyotoconnection.com
See you in Japan!
