More observations are still needed to confirm its size, but its discovery shows that there are still large objects out there waiting to be found!
This is just the beginning for Rubin 🤩☄️

Otter Pup 2 is now operating as close as 25 meters away from @GilmourSpace's ElaraSat, fully autonomously. This vid contains imagery captured when we were separated by just 33.6 meters.
We’ve demonstrated our ability to safely and precisely operate at very close range, executing intricate maneuvers, gathering detailed imagery, and testing the capabilities we’ll need for docking.
With this progress, Otter Pup 2 has officially completed Characterize, the penultimate phase of its mission. That leaves just one phase left: attempting docking, and a chance to make history.

Leo Vulcan 1 (LV-01) payload on the move.
LV-01 is the first of 38 Leo missions on @ulalaunch’s heavy-lift Vulcan rocket, and last week, teams successfully transported the 40-satellite payload—encapsulated inside a 70-foot-tall fairing—to the new Amazon Vertical Integration Facility (VIF-A) at Cape Canaveral.

The sunshade for the NEO Surveyor mission is ready for its day in the sun! 😎
NASA's Near-Earth Object (NEO) Surveyor will hunt for potentially hazardous asteroids and comets that cross Earth’s path. ½
The ARCHANGEL-class destroyer's large size allows it to carry significant amounts of fuel and munitions. The increase in VLS cell count over the BETHANY-class cruiser allows the ARCHANGEL to mount an effective defence while maintaining offensive pressure against enemy ships.
The team also made progress at LC-36B yesterday. Roughly 450 truckloads of concrete, lined up bumper-to-bumper and stretching nearly 3 miles up the coast, supported a 4,500-cubic-yard pour for the pile caps. Three more placements to go for a total of 15,000 cubic yards. This is the foundation for our New Glenn 9x4 pad.

Finally got to see my work for @ProfBrianCox world tour ”Emergence” on the immense screens rigged at the O2 arena in London last night.
16800(!) people in the audience.
Fantastic experience and show, thanks for letting me be a part of this Brian!
DDGN-3202 "ARCHANGEL" and her sisters DOMINION, POWER, URIEL and SERAPHIM are the long arms of the USSF. Blocky, ugly, and bristiling with VLS cells, compared to the multirole nature of the Bethany class, the ARCHANGEL is optimized for one thing only - to kill enemy ships.

80 years ago, Johns Hopkins APL helped capture the first photos of Earth from space.
On Oct. 24, 1946, James Van Allen and APL colleagues launched cameras and scientific instruments aboard a captured German V-2 rocket, giving humanity its first glimpse of Earth from space.

@itsDanielSuarez Is there still a future for the DeltaV series?

This is a clip from one of our latest 60-second engine firing tests! The video captures the blue flame signature of our methane-fueled propulsion system, along with perfectly defined shock diamonds.
Behind every successful test is the dedication of our engineering team🚀

It is grappled by the robot arm & berthed into the ship's hangar for repairs + data retrieval
