Per ESPN Research, the Seahawks are the first team since the 1984 Browns to hold their first seven opponents under 180 passing yards. They're allowing a league-low 3.99 yards per play, which is the fewest through seven games by any team since the 2019 Patriots (3.96).

Figured as much given Macdonald smiling his way through trying to explain Nick's "injury" on Friday, and the fact they didn't elevate Aidan Hubbard from the practice squad.
Great news as they prepare to face the red-hot Kenneth Walker-led Chiefs offense.
#Seahawks defenders LB Uchenna Nwosu (hip) and S Nick Emmanwori (hip) are both listed as questionable and both expected to go, sources say.

Outside of Walker, Veach has equipped Mahomes with total junk. No reliable OTs, no TE, and a straight up garbage receiver room.
After starring in the preseason Foster just never earned any snaps in this offense. I’d expect him to get through waivers.
No Hubbard being elevated tells me Nwosu is likely to play, along with Lawrence who was named a game captain. Both are listed as questionable after being limited in practice this week.

I still believe Manning would be a first round NFL draft pick if he makes himself eligible, but there is simply no denying that he's failed to progress as expected.
What happened and what can he improve upon to right the ship?

Chiefs UDFA rookie LT Kahlil Benson has allowed 14 pressures this season on 174 pass blocking snaps, a pressure pct of 8.0
By comparison, Abe Lucas is at 7.7 pct and Charles Cross at 5.5 pct
Joshua Ezeudu, who figures to start at RT in place of Jaylon Moore, has allowed 1 pressure on 16 PB snaps for a pct of 6.3
Can the Seahawks banged-up EDGE group take advantage the KC's inexperienced OT's?
It's one of the bigger matchup storylines of the game.

We have signed Practice Squad player RB Jaydn Ott to an active roster contract.
We have activated LB Cooper McDonald from Reserve/Injured.
We have activated Practice Squad player WR Justin Watson via Standard Elevation.
We have placed RB Brashard Smith on Reserve/Injured.
I just got hit with a "who have the Seahawks even played that's good?"
So, let's take a look....
Seattle's opponents combined win pct. = .473
Kansas City's opponents = .310
4 of the Chiefs 5 wins have come against teams with a combined win pct of .217
Their one "quality win" was week 1 against a 4-2 Broncos team who's offense now sits at 31st in the NFL in YPG.
