Today's APPRECIATION post on #Hughesdaytuesday. The man of the hour, days, months, years, eternity perhaps. Our beloved #BenLloydHughes.
At the FB Sanditon Appreciation Society, we are commenting on S1 characters, performers and performances. Today, it's the street confrontation between Sidney Parker and Charlotte Heywood. Sparks fly indeed. Image from IMBd

Well worth the read if you have not yet. @MissCurrerBell has quite a knack for regency dialogue! #Sanditon #Sandific
It's 1 year since I completed my #Heybourne fic "After the Cliffs" and because I wasn't on X at the time there was no fanfare, but if you've not read it I invite you to now. I can promise:
Courtship rituals
Engagement drama
Fluff & angst
Love confessions

Happy Birthday, Mary Shelley, born on this day in 1797.
Shelley was the daughter of renowned feminist writer, Mary Wollstonecraft, who died 11 days after her little Mary was born.

All forms of creativity and the arts are essential. The arts help us to express ourselves, to work through stress, trauma, hope and joy. People come and go, time goes on, but art remains. It’s a legacy of life. And that is something everyone is part of and contributes to.
Last day of the Sanditon Alphabet game. So we end with ZEALOUS Zeal for an amazing show with outstanding characters and performances to boot. Let's give a rousing round of applause heard around the world! Amen indeed.
ZEE, goes a ZIP line from these folks to my heart each time I rewatch Sanditon 2 and 3. If I were to ask, who might be on your Zip line from screen to heart; what would your answer be?
