Dear Texas Voters,
We have one more week of #EarlyVoting before the Nov 3rd election. I urge you to #vote for the State Representative candidates endorsed by the Associated Republicans of Texas organization (ART) @ARTxPAC. For over 50 years, ART has been comprised of business and civic leaders from across #Texas, seeking to support qualified, conservative legislators who best represent their respective districts. All of these candidates are carefully vetted and interviewed, and none are extremists. They are simply the best choices for good government. See artexas.org/latest-endorseme… and your individual District’s candidates webpage:

FAILED BUSINESSES
Letitia Plummer started a string of businesses — a realty company, a consulting firm, a sleep-medicine company, even a charity — and one after another lost the right to operate in Texas after failing to pay or file business taxes. The IRS stripped her charity of its tax-exempt status for not filing for three straight years. That's the management record she'd bring to Harris County.

Property-tax relief starts with spending discipline.
Before Harris County asks taxpayers for more, it should eliminate waste, prioritize essential services and demonstrate that existing programs are delivering measurable results.

The annual awards of housing tax credits in the State of Texas are now issued for the 2026 competitive cycle! Thanks to the continuing support of Gov. Greg Abbott, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs was able to award a record amount for a single year, with over a billion dollars of 10-year par value.
Over 4,400 much needed affordable housing units will now be built and/or rehabilitated.
Thanks to both TDHCA staff and the development industry for working together to make this happen!
