Discord is about to put your public messages on Google
Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December.
The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out:
User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.”
In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default.
Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.

I don't understand why CS2 still handles early abandons like this.
If someone disconnects or abandons before the first gun round, the match should just be canceled. Instead, you're expected to sit through a 4v5 that was effectively over before it even started.
I know the argument is that Valve doesn't want players bullying teammates into leaving. That's a fair concern. But there has to be a better solution than forcing 9 players to waste the next 30 to 45 minutes in a match that was ruined from Round 1.
Every competitive game has to deal with leavers. In 2026, CS2 should have a smarter system for handling them.
