A big portion of the far right voter base are idiots who only see politics as entertainment. It's not real to them, culture wars are the only thing they care about. We'd be much better off if they went back to abstaining like 10+ years ago. Democracy doesn't need them.
Most young people I know who were Trump supporters now are saying that they’re not political and don’t care about politics lol.

In order to properly speak a foreign language you sort of have to do an impression of a native speaker. The reason why most anglos are so bad at languages is because they are too self-conscious to effectively do this

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

It’s going to get worse but we are rapidly becoming a society of two types of people, ones who can function normally the way people have for thousands of years, and the other who have intellectually neutered themselves in the delusional belief that it is to become more efficient
So the people that are anti AI, do you like, not use AI at all??? Like not using it for generative art, and paying artists, I understand, but you're behinnnndddd if you refuse to touch it

Once a month sounds annoying and without benefits. The point is that you should be expected to go in basically every day and structure your whole life around this expectation.

The author is dead! (Crowd cheers) But the author function lives on (crowd boos) Rather than attributing the text to a single origin point, we as critics must map the complex web of institutions and power relations that constitute "authorship" (crowd yawns, disperses)
