I've been embarrassed to talk about this because this is a classic that everyone has already read and I have just started to read it, but I have to say I'm REALLY loving Mistborn, the books got me so hooked that I haven't been reading anything besides it for the past few days.

One thing that scared me a bit at first was that there won't be any conflict between the characters due to how centered the fantasy aspect of the books are but this doesn't look like to be the case now that I've finished a decent chunk of the first book.

One thing that also surprised was how good the Allomancy action parts are. I have only read fighting scenes in graphic novels and Manga so it was surprising in a good way when I found myself enjoying the action in this book, dare I say maybe as much as I do in Manga.

I continued praying five times a day for about two months even after becoming an atheist. I didn't believe there's any point to it nor that the higher being I was praying for actually existed, but it just felt wrong to hear the Athan and deliberately ignore it.

I don't plan on drinking alcohol ever though, it's one of the worst things for your body so I'm kinda grateful I was raised with an aversion to it.
