An IDF soldier has been charged with passing sensitive information to Iranian operatives for approximately a year in exchange for money. According to the investigation, the soldier provided information about his unit and military bases, photographed interceptor missiles and American refueling aircraft, and was offered $200,000 if he traveled to Iran.

.@Lagarde resignation today obviously prompting lots of speculation about what role she may place in France's presidential election. Has been chatter in Paris for some time that she may join @EPhilippe_LH on a joint ticket as his PM-candidate to attract more centre right votes. But Le Monde says it’s to give Macron a voice in choosing her successor at the ECB rather than risk that decision being screwed up in some way by Le Pen. There is also a risk that all Lagarde would do is further split the anti-RN vote heading into R1. So, too early for quick takes. Let's see
I have just informed my colleagues that I will step down as @ECB President on 7 February 2027.
It has been a source of great pride to serve this institution.
I thank all of those who have supported me on this journey over the past seven years.

The most iconic hooded eyes in cinema 🎬
• Renée Zellweger
• Jennifer Lawrence
• Charlotte Rampling
Renée and Jennifer have presumably had theirs corrected
The legendary Charlotte has kept hers
Hooded eyes are elegant, sexy, mysterious and utterly distinctive
It’s an aesthetic mistake to modify them
I have always loved my hooded eyes, and never understood why people hate their hooded eyes.

Turnout is up nine points. Half of that increase comes from Arab voters, who make up only 17 to 18 percent of the population.
They are turning out at historic rates, at least since the dramatic Netanyahu–Peres election of 1996, and, from what we’re hearing, voting almost entirely for the Joint List and Ra’am.
That means every point of that surge comes at the expense of all the Jewish parties, in both blocs: the change bloc and Netanyahu’s bloc alike.
So the big question ahead of 10 p.m., for the parties, for Arab voters, for change-bloc voters and, in a sense, for Likud areas too, is this: was today’s turnout a massive early surge that is now leveling off, or will it keep pouring in at this pace until the polls close?
My cautious estimate: this will certainly be the highest turnout of this century, and we’ve already passed that mark. It could end up somewhere around 74 to 75 percent. A fantastic, crazy number.
But the real test is the next two hours.
