To me, Remembrance Day is the most important day of the year, it trumps any other occasion. It is the day to remember those who laid down their life for the freedom of others. It acts as a stark reminder to me, to not surrender those freedoms without being prepared to do the same

Never forget life BC (before covid). We didn’t treat each other as if we had the plague, we saw smiles, we hugged, we travelled freely, we knew children were granny’s joy, we were with our loved ones when they died or gave birth, we had freedoms. Life BC is worth fighting for.
