Honestly Mr Kestrel... I'm not a mouse! 😳😅
I was right underneath this hovering Kestrel at Porthleven in Cornwall last week! 😍🐦

Our handsome Bramble, it's been lovely to enjoy some nicer weather recently. A pair of curlews have returned to the farm a beautiful sound that lifts the spirits at this time of year. Can't wait for the wildflowers to start emerging, and the cycle of nature begins again #nature

Alright, major announcement time:
We’ve made something new in the meadow just in time to stay cozy in the storm!
We just released a Humming Meadow wool blanket. It’s a 100% virgin wool blanket, designed here by our family in the hills of Vermont and inspired by the quiet geometry and color pattern of our beehives.
White for the snow we’d rather forget,
Yellow for the meadow where pollen is met,
Blue for the sky the bees ache to greet,
Green for the forest that breaks the wind’s beat.
It was woven in the United States by our friends at Faribault Mill, measures 50 by 70 inches, and is made entirely of virgin wool. No synthetics. No shortcuts.
We’ve always believed good things should carry weight, be useful, and make our homes more beautiful.
They should last.
This blanket is for cold mornings, long evenings, and homes that are built to be lived in across seasons.
As always, thank you for being here and for supporting the work of our family, our bees, and our tradition.

Btw: these storms where whole cities lose power are a great argument against an all electric energy strategy. Having some natural gas, gasoline powered cars, etc is vital. Diversity of energy sources.

Minnesota National Guard was asked why they’re handing out coffee, donuts, and hot chocolate to protesters.
Answer: “It’s a demonstration of safety and security. We’re here to help.”
That’s how you de-escalate.
Not masks. Not threats. Not bullets.

“I can’t look my daughters in the eye and say I’m running as a Republican, when they’re pulling over Hispanics and Asians because of the color of the skin and what they look like. I did not sign up for that.”
