🇺🇸 💵 🍲 After #US President Donald #Trump championed a law that cut the allocation of food stamps provided under the #SNAP programme in early 2026, many more Americans find themselves relying on charitable food banks, many of them in the state of #Arizona.
It's a policy that could prove costly for Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections, with the state seeing two tight contests.

Trump is the most dangerous president in our history.
He's an authoritarian who does not believe in the rule of law.
This election is not about Ds vs. Rs.
It's about whether we maintain a rubber-stamp GOP Congress that aids and abets Trump — or finally hold him accountable.
En dan gelijk het vetorecht van de provincies invoeren en binnen de provincies vetorecht van gemeenten en binnen gemeenten vetorecht van buurten en van straten....IK WIL GEWOON ZELF VETORECHT....

Imagine being a CEO of an US energy company and thinking that you work with close associates of the Trump family, only to find out that behind them is a sanctioned Russian company, really pulling the strings.
This happened in Alaska. Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, stepped down after finding out that the Russian "Novatek" company, which is under US sanctions, has been involved in a $25 billion energy project in Alaska. The CEO thought that he was working with Gentry Beach, a close friend of Donald Trump Junior.
Reportedly, that project was also discussed between Witkoff and Jared Kushner when they were with Putin. The White House admitted that the project was talked about "briefly".
We are witnessing the greatest corruption scandal the USA has ever witnessed. It all leads to Trump, his family and the Russians, and apparently they were even ready to sell riches of Alaska to the Russians.
The people in Alaska just need to look over to Russia, where the richest regions in terms of minerals and hydrocarbon resources have been stripped-mined, transferring all the wealth to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and leaving a scarred landscape in extreme poverty. That is the result of rampant corruption.
We are starting to see more details why Trump and his friends are trying so strongly to bully Ukraine into surrender. This is most certainly only the tip of the iceberg.
There are people who consider Elon Musk a great man. This great man already spend about 450 biljon dollars to buy your Midterms election. As this is possible do you still think: "One man, one vote'"? Really?
In Israël is iedereen voor de wet gelijk.Dat is niet perse zo in de dagdagelijkse werkelijkheid
Voor de #VVD is liegen al decennia lang geen probleem.

The USA politics is nothing else but securing the best economic deal. For Trump, for his family, for his close multibillionair friends and maybe for the people of the USA citizens. But just maybe.
According to Le Monde, citing sources, U.S. special envoy Witkoff held a tense meeting in Florida on October 9 with Budanov, head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office.
Sources claimed that Witkoff spoke to Budanov “like a child,” trying to “teach” him how to make money.
Witkoff proposed a postwar “regional prosperity plan” that included fully restoring Russian oil and gas transit to Europe through Ukrainian territory.
Witkoff argued that Ukraine would earn transit revenues while Europe would benefit from lower energy costs.
Budanov reportedly replied that Ukraine’s model is “not Belarus, but Poland,” then stepped out to call President Zelenskyy, who advised him not to show any reaction.
When the talks resumed, the Ukrainian side was shown a document outlining a U.S.-Russia diesel deal.
An irritated Witkoff reportedly said: “Accept this diesel deal and stop striking Russian oil refineries — you are putting the world at risk!”
Ukrainian participants were described as shocked, viewing the plan as creating dependency on Moscow and noting that the United States appeared to have secured nothing in return from Putin.
A source close to the delegation told Le Monde: “I have never seen the Ukrainians so stunned and alarmed after a meeting.”
Analysts contrasted the episode with the February 28, 2025 Oval Office incident, saying this one involves concrete policy decisions that could affect Ukraine’s ability to defend itself ahead of a potentially harsh winter.

Het besef begint langzaam in te dalen dat we mensen tekort komen en die tekorten gaan alleen maar oplopen als we niets doen.
De VVD doet altijd het goede nadat ze eerst alle andere mogelijkheden geprobeerd hebben.

Of course. I stand with the ICC when it is about Netanyahu. And I consider the USA being an imperialistic or even colonial country.
Then I hope you apply that same standard to Washington and Israel. Are you willing to condemn America’s invasion of Iraq and criticise US support for Israel’s military campaign when international law is at issue, with the same firmness you use against Russia?
Or does this principle only become absolute when Moscow is involved?
