Putin sells Trump diesel he doesn’t have. Americans pay even more at the pump while US money flows to russia as it bombs Ukraine. Now Putin wants Trump to deliver Ukraine on a platter & carve up Europe. The diesel was just the appetizer 👇
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻-𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
Trump waived sanctions so Putin can sell diesel he does not have. The cash funds missiles on Ukrainian cities and the hybrid campaign already running across Europe. Americans still pay near-record prices. In Putin’s hometown the pumps are dry. The leaders get the photograph and the money. Everything else is already being built around that single, trivial transaction.

9 October: 300,000 tons “immediately,” then 500,000, then a million, plus three million more “depending on the refineries.” Waiver until April 2027. The market shrugged. U.S. diesel still sits at roughly $6.28–6.32 a gallon. The United States is a major exporter. The first 40,000-ton tanker left Primorsk for a mid-November arrival — after the midterms. Three ships, Novak says. Tiny barrels. Maximum optics. No relief for the trucker or the farmer.

Rosbalt reports diesel at just 62% of stations in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Dry pumps, rationing, queues whenever fuel arrives. Independent stations are suffering most. Ukrainian strikes have cut Russian diesel production by roughly 30%, yet Moscow keeps exporting it.

On 26 October, senior Democrats and Republican Thom Tillis demanded that major U.S. banks and ports preserve all records of Russian diesel deals. Their warning: possible sanctions violations, criminal liability and money financing Putin's war.
An investigation is being prepared for after the midterms if control of the chamber flips. The first tanker hasn't even docked.

Putin intends to use the Ukraine talks to force NATO back to its 1997 borders — withdrawal of troops and weapons from Poland, the Baltic states, Finland and Estonia. That is why Ushakov insists Europe must sit at the table. Western diplomats see the demand clearly and reject it. Peskov stated yesterday that Russia will not stop military operations during the “peace” talks; the armed forces continue massive strikes. Local humanitarian pauses (Oleshky, Melania Trump’s initiative) are offered as theatre. Kaja Kallas, same day in Paris: little hope for imminent peace. Russia continues attacks on Kyiv and is sinking civilian ships in the Black Sea. The EU’s task, she said, is to help Ukraine withstand and raise the cost for Moscow. New sanctions this month; more coming. The diesel opening, the fertilizer talk, the Novatek channel in Alaska — all of it is designed to drag Moscow out of isolation while Europe absorbs the hybrid pressure and the political bill.
After nationalising over 800 European companies worth 7.6 trillion rubles, Putin now promises “favourable conditions” for those who stay. He even claims Europe has plenty of friends of Russia who were “forced to leave.”
𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗸𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁. 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗞𝘆𝗶𝘃.
“You are a humanist also, sir, and I salute that.” Putin then expressed regret about the losses. Hours later Russian forces launched a massive ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Why stop killing when Washington applauds your humanity? A few words of sorrow cost nothing. The bombing continues.
𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹. 𝗣𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲.
The diesel is the appetizer. The real meal is a New Yalta in which three men decide Ukraine’s fate in a room where Ukraine is not invited, and NATO is invited only to be dismantled. Trump gets the photograph and the illusion of mastery. Putin gets cash, sanctions relief, time, and a chance to rewrite the European security order. Ukraine pays in blood. Europe is expected to pretend the price is acceptable.
𝗨𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗹. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝘆𝗶𝘃 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗼.
Sources close to Zelensky dropped it today: the suspension of strikes on Russian refineries is only a pause. The United States and others asked for it. Kyiv is waiting for answers. It will not last.
While Moscow sells scraps of diesel it does not have, Ukrainian strikes continue on the real targets. In the last days: the Energiya plant in Yelets — Russia’s sole producer of power batteries for glide bombs, Iskander-M missiles and cruise missiles — was hit and burned. The main microchip workshop at Proton-Electrotex in Oryol, which feeds components for ballistic and cruise missiles, was destroyed. Radars, command posts and other air-defence nodes in Belgorod Oblast were struck. Russia is already dry on diesel. Its air defence, stretched thin and failing to intercept, is dropping its own munitions across Belgorod. The city is being hammered by both Ukrainian drones and the debris of Moscow’s own systems.
Putin keeps losing allies and still demands that Europe surrender Kyiv so he can roll NATO back to the 1997 borders. Peskov has already confirmed that the “peace” process will not pause the killing. Every serious assessment of the war, from historians to Western intelligence agencies, says the same thing: a settlement that leaves Russia intact is only a pause that lets it rebuild for the larger war it is already preparing in Europe. Trump is arranging the division of spheres of influence with Putin and Xi. The diesel is only the down-payment. The rest — the New Yalta, the pressure on NATO’s 1997 borders, the continued killing — is already under way.
Trump’s America has now crossed a line that earlier administrations, for all their other failures, treated as non-negotiable. Calling the organizer of the largest land war in Europe since 1945 a humanitarian is not a slip. It is a public announcement that the American side has decided the moral accounting no longer applies. The release of one elderly American teacher is treated as sufficient counterweight to the systematic targeting of Ukrainian civilians, the abduction of children, and the deliberate destruction of energy infrastructure ahead of winter. The comparison is not between two acts of mercy. It is between a hostage release and an ongoing campaign of extermination. Treating them as equivalent is the definition of the stain.
For Putin the genocide of Ukraine stopped being a policy years ago. It became the fixed idea that holds the entire construction together.
Half Trump’s term was spent exposing him. The rest may be spent trying to stop him. Washington will debate the depth of his stupidity while Putin continues slaughtering Ukrainians.

Imagine being a CEO of an US energy company and thinking that you work with close associates of the Trump family, only to find out that behind them is a sanctioned Russian company, really pulling the strings.
This happened in Alaska. Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, stepped down after finding out that the Russian "Novatek" company, which is under US sanctions, has been involved in a $25 billion energy project in Alaska. The CEO thought that he was working with Gentry Beach, a close friend of Donald Trump Junior.
Reportedly, that project was also discussed between Witkoff and Jared Kushner when they were with Putin. The White House admitted that the project was talked about "briefly".
We are witnessing the greatest corruption scandal the USA has ever witnessed. It all leads to Trump, his family and the Russians, and apparently they were even ready to sell riches of Alaska to the Russians.
The people in Alaska just need to look over to Russia, where the richest regions in terms of minerals and hydrocarbon resources have been stripped-mined, transferring all the wealth to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and leaving a scarred landscape in extreme poverty. That is the result of rampant corruption.
We are starting to see more details why Trump and his friends are trying so strongly to bully Ukraine into surrender. This is most certainly only the tip of the iceberg.

Die armen Russen also?
Lesenswert, danke Anna. 🙏
Elon Musk @elonmusk , let me explain something to you. Let’s deal with documented facts, not emotional generalisations.
On 19 October 2026, I personally attended the fourth international conference “Crimea Global. Understanding Ukraine through the South” in Kyiv.
At the panel “Countering the Predator: How to Stop Russia’s Recruitment of Foreigners,” Brigadier General Dmytro Usov, Secretary of Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, presented official Ukrainian data.
As of 1 October 2026, Ukraine had identified 45,959 foreign nationals from 151 countries and territories who had signed contracts with Russia’s military since 2022.
The annual figures presented were:
2022: 94
2023: 4,067
2024: 8,877
2025: 16,085
January–September 2026: 16,168
In just nine months of 2026, Russia recruited more foreigners than during the entire previous year. According to the figures presented, approximately 1,800 foreign nationals are being recruited monthly.
Among the identified recruits were citizens of Colombia, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Peru, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus.
These are not figures I invented. I was personally present when they were presented.
Now let’s examine your claim that Russian soldiers are simply poor children with no choice.
Russia recruits internationally through promises of money, employment and citizenship. Some people knowingly enlist. Others are deceived, pressured or coerced.
According to a survey of foreign prisoners of war presented by Ukrainian authorities, 46.7% of respondents signed contracts seeking Russian citizenship, while 28% did not know they would fight against Ukraine.
These figures concern surveyed foreign prisoners, not every Russian soldier.
Yes, some Russian conscripts face coercion. Their experiences deserve recognition. But that does not justify claiming that everyone fighting for Russia has no choice.
Most importantly, none of this changes the fundamental distinction:
Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine did not invade Russia.
Russia’s leadership bears responsibility for launching and continuing this war. Ukrainians are defending their homes, families and sovereignty.
I live in Kyiv. I experience the air-raid alerts, drone attacks and strikes on infrastructure. I see what this war does to ordinary people.
This is not an abstract debate for me. It is my home and my life.
You speak about sympathy for Russian soldiers. Where is your equal concern for Ukrainian civilians who never chose this war? For families who lost their loved ones? For Ukrainians unlawfully detained by Russia?
Compassion for individuals does not erase responsibility for aggression.
Russia can withdraw its invading forces. Ukraine cannot end the invasion by surrendering its right to self-defence.
Before making sweeping claims about who has a choice, examine Russia’s documented recruitment system.
I was there when these figures were presented.
Stop equating the aggressor with the country defending itself.

Friends,
My account here, just like other Ukrainian accounts recently, is suffering from severe shadowbanning/pessimization. There has been a sharp drop in reach, as the platform's algorithms quietly remove it from search and recommendations.
My Threads account, which has 25,000 followers, currently gets more reach than my account here on X.
I will remain here and I deeply value our community. But just in case, I want to remind you that I have other platforms: Threads, Bluesky, and Telegram.

Hoppla.
Reality is finally crashing down on the Kremlin: Trump can't deliver the easy capitulation putin was banking on.
In a telling moment of backdoor realisation, putin’s top aide, Yuri Ushakov, just exposed Moscow's deep desperation. He admits that dealing strictly with Trump and his real estate “diplomats”, isn't working because Trump can't just bully Kyiv into submission. Instead, Russia is finally forced to accept a hard truth: they have to deal with a united Europe that stands firmly behind Ukraine. Desperate for progress, Moscow now wants Europe at the table—proving once and for all that Trump's 'magic wand' has completely failed.
Pavel Zarubin: “Is such an option possible, if Zelensky continues to behave insolently toward the American administration, that the American administration will simply dictate and force him to make the decisions that the American administration considers correct?”
Yuri Ushakov: “Well, you understand, even earlier there was an impression after Anchorage, too, that the American administration could dictate something like that and force Kyiv to fulfill it. But so far this hasn't quite worked out, because it's not enough to talk only with Kyiv; one needs to talk with the whole of Europe, which fully supports Kyiv, and perhaps Europe's position here is of a key character.”

November weiterreden.
