every time i get out of my chair in public/out of a disabled parking space i feel like i have to make it obvious and visible that i’m in pain e.g. leaning on someone, moving really slowly, because i’m scared about people thinking things like this - PAIN IS NOT VISIBLE ASSHOLES

Look painful? NO pain treatment at all! This patient suffers from RSD, a very painful condition, & just had her knee replacement & other hardware removed due to infection. Surgery was performed in a NY hospital. She was sent home with NO PAIN MEDICATION! This could easily be YOU!

When a chronically ill person tells a healthy person that they spend all day at home and don't work, they say they wish they could do that too because all they hear is you're on vacation. But unlike a job there is no vacation from a chronic illness. It's fulltime suffering. ☹
