I’m so incredibly sorry. It’s an absolute shambles 😢

We were one of those families and to see that is absolutely devastating. I’m glad you eventually got to get on your holiday, enjoy the sun xx
…and the co pilot is having to load the bags on the plane so we can try and make our flight slot! 😱 @TUIUK and @manairport you are a joke! @MENnewsdesk

And the worst thing - all of those people @TUIUK said couldn’t fly after they had checked in… there are so many seats on this plane! Apparently they thought it only had 29 rows but it’s got more than that. Incompetence at its highest level! @MENnewsdesk #manchesterairport

And 31 hours after we were meant to take off, we are actually on the @TUIUK plane! We weren’t one of the unlucky ones in the ‘name call of doom’ after check in to say they couldn’t fly anymore. Just a catastrophe of errors #journorequest

And we are actually on the plane boarding. 31 hours after we were meant to leave!

🗣“I’ve had 2 hours sleep worrying if I’m going to have my little girl in tears again.” Passengers are facing long queues and cancellations again at #ManchesterAirport. Kate Tynan @LilButtonBakery had her flight to Crete cancelled yesterday and is still waiting to take off👇
Oh no! Hope you got back this morning. Panic at check in as had no idea about flight move and said flight was oversold! 😱 but we are through and checked in. Hope you get through too 🙏🏻

We were on this flight, so poor, we don't live far but ended up taxi home and now struggling to get back in the morning, had to call on my neighbour to help. Interesting that flights cancelled after ours have got hotels.
Yes that was so poor! Luckily we live close by so went home

Thanks @TUIUK for ruining the start to our holiday today by keeping us on the plane for 3.5 hours, then in the departure lounge for another 2 with zero information! Cancelling by text in the end for an entire plane of people. No @TUIUK rep to be seen! Appalling! @MENnewsdesk

Just awful! @BorisJohnson so insensitive to post this tweet when so many couples and wedding industry people are holding their breath for Monday! #whataboutweddings

#whataboutweddings though @BorisJohnson. I can still only get married with 28 of my closest friends and family, no standing for a drinks reception, no dancing, wearing masks.... yet this many people can watch a football game!! We need these ridiculous restrictions lifted now!
THIS! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 #whataboutweddings
