What do you think? Could the book 1968 that @StephenKing recently mentioned working on actually be the legendary SWORD IN THE DARKNESS? liljas-library.com/article.p…

Well, you know what they say--opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one.
The reason Stephen King didn’t like the movie The Shining is because unlike Carrie, which is only 10 times better than the book, The Shining was 1,000 times better than the book. It was so much better than the book it was embarrassing.

Kubrick's The Shining is a better movie than King's book is a book. I said what I said.

There’s been quite a few interviews with @stephenking following the release of T3, but unfortunately, it’s very much the same questions over and over again. I’d like to sit down with King and discuss his career, where it’s heading, whether he’s grown tired of horror.

What would you ask King if you had the chance? A specific question or a particular topic?
