I also want to thank all of the City of Hudson voters for their patience and understanding of what we had to do to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Yesterday was the first time in my 20+ year career in government conducting elections that I felt scared for everyone involved. I want to thank all of our Poll Workers, City staff, and @NationalGuard for working so hard to put on the safest election possible.
Polls are open today until 8pm. We are doing all we can to keep voters and poll workers safe. Expect longer than usual wait times. Completed absentee ballots can be dropped off at City Hall until 8pm in the utility drop box at the main entrance.
Just a reminder that starting today and for the immediate future the City of Hudson offices will be very minimally staffed. If you have City business contact departments directly via email or phone. Department contacts can be found here, hudsonwi.gov/8/Departments
