A dairy cow arrives at the slaughterhouse unable to stand from exhaustion. She is covered in feces & trampled by other animals around her.

My latest:
“With climate research continuing to point to meat production as a clear contributor to climate change, the news of the new Maple Leaf Foods facility has many in the environmental, as well as animal rights communities, scratching their heads.”

Talking about the new slaughterhouse and the impact for the animals on @CTVLondon with @ldnchickensave - bottom line is: there’s no humane way to kill someone who doesn’t want to die. Let’s not be too quick to celebrate violence in our city. #ldnont

When a slaughterhouse moves in the crime rates go up! Sign the petition. No more violence in #LdnOnt! change.org/p/london-save-mov…

This is not good news for #LdnOnt. Statistically the incidents of crime & community violence go up in areas near slaughterhouses. The workers suffer. The animals suffer. We already kill over 100,000 animals in our city every day. We do not need more unnecessary violence.
Maple Leaf Foods plans to open a $660-million plant in #ldnont that will bring nearly 1,500 jobs to the city. bit.ly/2AlYhxc

And people ask me why I am angry.... 💔
Who are we to keep babies separated from mothers and steal their milk? It is not ours to take. It belongs to him. #vegan

It breaks my heart to see a baby pulled away from his Mom. There is no reason to do this.

She was born with an additional limb growing from her head.
She was only able to see out of one eye and hear with one ear.
She was offered no treatment for her birth defect.
The farmer treated her no differently to the rest of the cows.
He doesn’t care who you’re eating.

We would like to organize a carpool group to bear witness with our sister group @torontopigsave on the morning of November 8th for their weekly vigil outside Fearmans Pork in Burlington. See event page for full details: facebook.com/events/58331790…

This was at a truck stop along the 401. These cows are "spent" #dairy cows being exported to the US. Millions of animals die in transport, in #Canada, every year. The video says it all.
Please stop funding animal abuse!

There she is, lovely eyes and the cutest temperament. You’ll always be in my heart. 💚
Early morning and the first trucks are just arrived, double decker with all the cows pushed in it. Look in her eyes and tell me your hamburger is worth it.

“Andrea had a change of heart after recognizing that her work depended on bringing more and more babies into the world, and breaking up families all to satisfy a taste for mother’s milk stolen from other animals.” #vegan
