High priority:
AI Firewall
AI Endpoint Protection
AI SIEM
AI Identity
Low priority:

Endpoint Protection

Identity
In a single year, AI has rewritten the security priority list for CISOs.
Attackers are moving faster. Bain estimates AI compresses a typical cyberattack from about four weeks to about 18 hours, and models keep getting better at finding and exploiting weaknesses.
There's also more to protect, with employees shipping apps they couldn't have built a year ago and agents getting access to source code, documents, and production systems.
In a survey of 100 CISOs at companies with 1,000+ employees, all seven of the most-selected 2027 priorities involve AI.
The biggest jumps since 2026:
- Internal AI agent security (+28 pts)
- AI SOC (+26 pts)
- AI offensive security (+24 pts)
- AI code security (+23 pts)
- AI vulnerability remediation (+22 pts)
Last year's staples:
- Exposure & vulnerability management (-21 pts)
- SIEM / security data (-18 pts)
- Privileged access management (-18 pts)

This is insane. Market should not be reacting like this to an economically implausible sci-fi story. That it is implies deep uncertainty and confusion surrounding AI.

The whole economy is now blindly operating under the assumption that AI is accelerating on the AGI 2027 timeline.
What a fucking joke.
LLM psychosis clearly extends far beyond SF now. The normies have no idea how this technology actually works and have fallen for the Sam Altman / Elon / Jensen astroturfing. It takes a couple of hours to understand the underlying limitations of LLMs and this research will further lead you to the conclusion that AGI is not achievable on our current path.
I'm sharing these thoughts in response to the Citrini post which is just an extension of narratives set forth by Silicon Valley. Although the scenario is worth considering (AI will have some degree of impact), we should really be more prudent on analyzing the financial consequences of a failed AGI timeline.
I've maintained this perspective for at least a year now and will continue to do so until AI evangelist delusions match reality.
JUNE 2028.
The S&P is down 38% from its highs. Unemployment just printed 10.2%. Private credit is unraveling. Prime mortgages are cracking. AI didn’t disappoint. It exceeded every expectation.
What happened?

Day in the life of a L/S Equity PM
3:30am - wake up in a cold sweat from the memory of your IB VP calling you a fucking retard
5:30am - get to the office and plug into bloomberg. Investor relations girlies are doing the firm sponsored pilates class in the firm owned gym. You ask yourself why you chose this career
8:30am - finish reading your emails. Sell-side has downgraded your entire long book and upgraded your entire short book. Excellent
12:30pm - stare into the bathroom mirror and contemplate killing yourself
12:35pm - take the 2nd biggest shit of your life
1:30pm - risk reaches out reminding you that you have too much exposure to the dividend yield factor. Thank you
2:30pm - head out to grab lunch. Homeless man with an iPhone and gucci sweatshirt pisses on your Sperrys. Good reminder to vote for Mamdani, he’ll fix this
4:15pm - reviewing exposures and performance, realize you made 1.5bps today. Sweet
7:00pm - yell into the abyss (Murray Hill) on your way home
10:30pm - go to bed. Dream of ways to acquire MNPI without getting flagged by compliance
