If you’re a small investor, Anthropic and OpenAI equity just doesn’t make sense.

People will still choose Chinese OSS over Cohere tho
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected. Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions. Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent. But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models? We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem. Read the full report: cohere.com/blog/concerning-b…

Bitch move to block me over this. But let’s be generous and say he, being a sophisticated “fund manager”, understands how opex vs capex works. Then that means he’s out to find a “gotcha” which means he’s coming into every opportunity with a bias.
Now I understand the fund performance

A year ago around this time ORCL signed that big OAI deal. A year later AI has proven to be larger than anyone imagined a year ago.

Very interesting what dessa and that other realistic video model shows is that AI research is converging on the conclusion that a realistic human needs to be imperfect - they look mid, speak with pauses and stutters
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

A coal powered datacenter in the middle of downtown is exactly what we deserve
EXCLUSIVE: "It was, perhaps, only a matter of time before the controversial industry seeking swaths of available land looked longingly at San Francisco’s shuttered downtown mall, one of the city’s most troubled pieces of real estate." By @laura_waxee sfchronicle.com/sf/article/d…

Uhhh if u go by her IG she probably up 26 hrs from a coke binged rave
Lucy Guo on why AI isn't shrinking her workweek: "AI is making people work harder actually, because you have to be awake for your agents to be running." She pulled a 26-hour day last week because Claude was shipping code and she refused to miss the loop.
