Do you know the story of Satyabhama and her past life?
Sharing 🧵
In Mahabharat she is described as the favourite consort of Krishna. Krishna loved her for her possessiveness. She was used to fighting with Krishna for Krishna. One day Krishna and Satyabhama were out for a stroll
Wow
The strongest argument I’ve ever heard in defence of patriarchy is the hot chapati. Someone has to keep making them while everyone else eats, and that someone is rarely the man demanding another.
But what happens when you draw a line between rice-eating and roti-eating India? The Census, economists and several decades of research start telling a rather curious story.
Introducing Rotinomics: where a humble flatbread finds itself accused of being an accessory to patriarchy.

Brocades were expensive we don't see oval brocades in historical settings and that too so many. It's like they just invited women from neighbouring villages and told them to dress themselves in their best sarees.
He will buy it out like last time.
#BREAKING: Exit Polls in Israel give a hung parliament verdict as voting ends. Netanyahu’s coalition most pollsters say may get around 50 seats. Looks like it will take a while before the new government formation in Israel with several rounds of hectic negotiations.

India will see so many suicides they will stop publishing Data. Oh! But India already stopped publishing suicide data in 2022. Life of a common man is unimaginably difficult. It's bleak, full of struggle and literally death is the only way out.
I had a classmate.
Had - meaning, now he is no more.
He committed suicide on Friday.
We were together in 9th and 10th standard.
He wasn’t very bright. He probably didn’t study much further. His family’s financial situation was weak. He was working in a clothing store. He hadn’t gotten married yet. The reason was likely "no job" (or lack of a stable one).
Before he left, he wrote a letter. He asked for forgiveness from his mother and brother.
He was a very simple, innocent boy. No bad company at all. No addictions whatsoever. There was always a smile on his face.
He left. Without telling anyone the pain he was carrying inside.
He doesn't give off the typical evil billionaire vibes. Loves his daughter dots his wife and is not afraid to show emotions. He is not clapping for himself, he is just a father clapping for his daughter.

Reporting to a dumb boss is an underrated curse. Reporting to a smart one is an underrated blessing. The quality of your manager dictates the quality of your life far more than you realise.
