Dear Friends, MR. FAROOQ ABDULLAH says that YOUNG KASHMIRI HINDU PANDIT WILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO KASHMIR VALLEY. Mr. FAROOQ ABDULLAH descendant of Kashmiri Hindu Brahmin clan of Saprus, who converted to Islam few generations back, made a very tasteless, insensitive, non chalant and communally bigoted comment on Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community whose blood also flows in his veins from his father's side. These are his exact words on the Kashmiri Hindu community that he uttered while speaking to journalists yesterday in Jammu city on KASHMIRI HINDU PANDIT FORCED EXODUS DAY. " When are they (Kashmiri Pandits) going back (to Kashmir) ? Who has stopped them ? No one is preventing them. There are many Pandits living in Kashmir. They did not leave. When others left the valley, they stayed in their homes peacefully. They (Kashmiri Hindu Pandits) may come as visitors, but I don’t think they will return to live there (in Kashmir) permanently." To many, Mr. Farooq Abdullah's nasty, disgusting, repulsive and nauseating comments on the Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community may sound like his own wishful thinking. Unfortunately, this is the stark reality of Kashmir, where many Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community really don't want Kashmiri Hindu Pandits to return back to Kashmir valley. Nearly 98% of immovable property like houses, shops and orchids of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits are already in occupation of Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community, who purchased it at dirt cheap prices in thousands of distressed sales made by displaced Kashmiri Hindu Pandits taking unfair and undue advantage of the misery of Kashmir's helpless Hindu minority in 1990s. Not even a single member of Kashmir's majority community is willing to return back houses, lands, shops and orchids that they cunningly, greedily and in total evilry purchased from economically distressed Kashmiri Hindus. There is unfortunately a section of Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community that seeks perverted pleasure in the fact that Kashmir's Hindu minority has been thrown out of Kashmir like a rotten garbage. "Balai gayi dafa" (Good Riddance" is a Koshur language phrase often used by these Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community for the Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community to describe their communally bigoted mindset. These Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community revel in joy that older generation of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits, who still speak Koshur language and have living memories and emotional attachment with Kashmir will die in next 2 or more decades leaving behind younger generation of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits forced to settled out side Kashmir Valley in different parts of India and abroad. These Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community think that younger generation of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits will not have the same kind of emotional attachment with Kashmir Valley as their parents or grandparents had and therefore they will not return back to Kashmir permanently and thereby KASHMIRI HINDU CHAPTER WILL BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY and Kashmir's "Hindu headache" will be gone forever. This is a mindset that seeks and awaits complete erasure of the Kashmiri Hindu community from the soil of Kashmir Valley. I interact with a large number of people belonging to the Kashmiri Hindu community, especially the younger generation of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits, and I would like to inform Mr. FAROOQ ABDULLAH and any other Kashmiri from Kashmir's majority community that YOUNG KASHMIRI HINDU PANDIT ARE VERY WILLING to return back to Kashmir valley, regardless of how "well settled" they are in other parts of India or abroad. INSHA ALLAH, YOUNG KASHMIRI HINDU PANDIT MEN & WOMEN WILL RETURN back to Kashmir valley with full honor and dignity, they will also WORK & THRIVE in Kashmir Valley and carry forward glorious tradition to KASHYAP RISHI forward.
