There’s tons of resources out there about how to learn from the Vogtle lessons. I like the ETI report that @LucidCatalyst did: lucidcatalyst.com/_files/ugd… Also good work at MIT by some buddies on this: cell.com/joule/fulltext/S254… web.mit.edu/kshirvan/www/res…

NextEra might even rejoin @NEI so it can have more intense discussions with utilities already demonstrating nuclear powered hydrogen production. Could also get some good advice from @LucidCatalyst’s seminal report on hydrogen-enabled fuels production. lucidcatalyst.com/hydrogen-r…

Yes yes and yes. See this really superb @ClearPathAction and @LucidCatalyst report from this year that my colleagues and I @TheBTI reviewed. In my view it’s the best quantitative analysis of this issue (for Iowa but same idea applies) that I’ve seen. xitter.cf/wang_seaver/status/154…
Just about every utility in Indiana wants to add more low-cost wind to their generation fleet this decade. But wind developers are not proposing many wind projects -- there was very low wind RFP responses in 5 utility RFPs issued in 2022. Local wind bans are a big problem.

Hydrogen needs to become affordable to reach scale. When you think about achieving this large hydrogen supply, you need to use the electricity efficiently and you need to deploy large dense energy projects. - Eric Ingersoll, @TerraPraxis @LucidCatalyst

“Superhot rock and nuclear energy have high potential for scale. They have complications, and so do wind and solar. Having a portfolio of all of these technologies allows us to avoid pathway dependency.” Eric Ingersoll @TerraPraxis @LucidCatalyst

Today I had the pleasure to join @Microsoft President @BradSmi to discuss how @TerraPraxis & @Microsoft will build and deploy a set of tools to automate the design and regulatory approval needed to re-power coal - the world’s largest source of carbon emissions to zero emissions.

Must read report out from @ClearPathAction and @LucidCatalyst on wind power deployment in Iowa. Shows why we need an "all of the above" strategy for clean energy policies and why the energy density of #nuclear is so valuable. #uranium @Beazy_Rampezy clearpath.org/reports/hawkey…
