It's happening.

Gen X grew up identifying with Incel Skywalker, his gay android, and his merry band of space diversity, triumphing over the evil space Nazis and dismantling the Empire in the name of multicultural democracy with Californian human potential movement characteristics.
Zoomers grew up identifying with an emotionally abused orphan who turns to the dark side and swallows all the red pills because it's his only shot at getting a gf, and then proceeds to destroy multicultural astrodemocracy in order to establish fully automated militarized Sith space fascism.
This may explain more about everyone's politics than we'd like it to.

For fourteen years, everyone thought U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant John Chapman died in the first two minutes on top of a freezing 10,000-foot mountain in Afghanistan.
Then modern image technology unlocked the thermal camera footage recorded by a Predator drone circling high in the clouds on March 4, 2002.
When Pentagon investigators watched the enhanced screen, hardened combat generals broke down in tears. Because the video proved that after everyone else had left the mountain peak, John Chapman woke up alone in the snow and fought an entire army by himself.
That night on the peak of Takur Ghar, thirty-six-year-old Chapman, a father of two little girls from Connecticut, had charged uphill through thigh-deep snow alone to silence an enemy bunker and save his pinned-down team. Hit from a second bunker, he fell motionless. Believing he was dead, the surviving team was forced to retreat down the ridge.
Chapman was not dead.
The drone footage showed him regaining consciousness in the pitch-black snow, surrounded on three sides by enemy fighters, with nine separate wounds in his body.
In total darkness, with no comrade beside him and nobody on earth watching except a silent camera in the sky, he refused to surrender. For more than an hour, he fought from inside the bunker, killing an enemy fighter in bare-handed close combat when they tried to rush him.
Then, at dawn, Chapman heard the heavy thump of rotor blades in the mist.
An American Chinook helicopter carrying twenty-three U.S. Army Rangers was flying straight toward the peak to rescue him, right into the sights of an enemy rocket launcher.
Chapman knew that if he stayed safe inside the rock bunker, those twenty-three young Americans in the helicopter would be blown out of the sky.
So on the thermal video, investigators watched John Chapman deliberately climb out of the bunker, stand up tall in the open snow, and fire into the enemy positions to draw every machine gun on the mountain onto his own chest.
He died in the snow as the sun rose, shielding the incoming helicopter with his life.
True bushido is what a warrior does when he thinks nobody will ever know his story. The sky was watching, John. And America will remember your name forever.

The mythos of the “Sea People” is so deeply engraved into the genetic memory of humanity that, even in modern times, our most feared infantry organizations are amphibious alcoholics.

The Museum Civilization
There is a peculiar class of modern Westerner who believes history has been permanently retired.
They speak of conquest the way a child speaks of wolves. Simply confident it no longer applies, offended that you would even mention it, and deeply upset when reminded that teeth still exist.
They insist the world runs on rules now and that borders are sacred. Also that true power has been replaced by paperwork.
This belief is not moral in the least. It’s f*****g archaeological.
They live inside institutions built by violence, defended by men they no longer understand, and guaranteed by forces they refuse to acknowledge. Like tourists wandering a fortress, they admire the stonework while mocking the idea of a siege.
They confuse order with nature. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Then blame the person that reminds them of this.
Civilization is not the default state of humanity. It is an achievement that is temporary, fragile, and expensive. It exists only where force once cleared the ground and still quietly patrols the perimeter.
A lion does not debate the ethics of hunger. Neither does a starving empire.
History is not a morality play, it is a pressure test. When pressure rises, abstractions collapse first. Laws follow power; they do NOT precede it. Property exists only where someone can prevent it from being taken. Sovereignty is not declared, it is enforced.
The modern West outsourced this enforcement, then forgot the invoice existed.
So when someone points out uncomfortable realities (whether about Greenland, Venezuela, or the broader balance of power) they respond with ritual incantations: “You can’t do that.” “That’s wrong.” “That’s against the rules.”
As if the rules themselves are armed. As if history paused because we asked nicely.
This is how empires fall. Not from invasion alone, but from conceptual rot. From mistaking a long season of safety for a permanent condition. From believing lethality is immoral instead of foundational.
Every civilization that forgot how violence works eventually relearned it the hard way. The conquerors did not arrive because they were monsters; they arrived because their victims could no longer imagine them.
The tragedy is not that power still exists. The tragedy is that so many have forgotten it does.
Idk who needs to hear this but civilization is a garden grown atop a graveyard. Ignore the soil, and someone else will plant something far less gentle.
Hate me for being the messenger and asking the hard questions about conquest if you want. You’re just wasting your time.

Sad that an Army officer doesn’t understand the moral and legal problem with this.
el salvador's invasion of haiti is one of the first signs of the death of the rules based international order, and a return to the historical "you can just do things" system of geopolitics, might makes right.

The security situation in Haiti continues to deteriorate rapidly. Police and international forces have launched major operations against armed gangs following a recent ambush that left two police officers dead while on patrol.

🇿🇦 In South Africa, a father kills three carjackers in a shootout while protecting his children
He and his two children were leaving their yard when a white vehicle blocked them.
One attacker held a gun to the son’s head at the gate while another opened fire.
The father returned fire from the car, killing one on the spot. The other two fled but later died of their wounds.
