When planning this year's symposium, I had no idea that FF health would be a national topic (@nytimes articles), that decades of 😷 policy would shift (@NWCG Safety Bulletin: 24-001), or that the fed admin would centralize fire efforts ( Executive Order 14308).

Smoke from distant fires will move into northern Colorado today. This loop shows the plume aloft. Surface smoke will be worst in northeast Colorado this afternoon and in Denver this evening, along a cold front.
