Contrarian opinion: you can learn to write a clean first draft (and edit as you go). Read through it once for mistakes, send it off for publication, then move on to your next project. The trap is endlessly editing or thinking the first draft will necessarily be a mess.

I can no longer trust the British police
Thomas Moffitt, a conservative activist, was reportedly arrested in the UK for saying "Paki" instead of "Pakistani" No, this isn't a joke. The UK has no free speech. If Democrats win, this is what the U.S. will look like

I eat cottage cheese plain but with a bit of ground black pepper on it.
Seriously— what do you pair with cottage cheese to make it actually taste good? 🧀🤢

I have just made what I hope are the final edits to my latest dark fantasy story, "The Music Master and the Priestly Inquisition". Coming to a grand total of 8,400 words, it is narrated by one of my recurring characters, Nadrain the Storyteller. #fantasy #darkfantasy #swordandsorcery davidandrewriley.blogspot.co…

I'm all over the place. I often start writing thinking I'm starting at the beginning only to realize it's some part in the middle lol
When I write I always go from a to z, never skipping scenes. What about you? Do you do that too or skip some scenes for later?

I'm so incredibly grateful for readers! Seeing the hardcover edition of "In the Lair of Legends" drop back into the top 100 over three years after its release is truly wonderful. Thanks so much for the continued support! davidbuzan.com

It's not my reinvention. It's an old form called tête-bêche. You never heard of Ace Doubles? It's just a nifty way of presenting short novels. Cheer up!

Hey fellow Christian’s, I wrote an awesome horror book involving themes of forgiveness, justice, and redemption. If you enjoy fiction with Christian themes like Solomon Kane, you’ll love this. Horror as a genre is not anti-Christian.

I've updated my Kickstarter to include excerpts from each of the novellas, if you are curious. Meantime, I really only need about 5 people to reach the goal. Only two weeks left! Link in reply.

Wilkommen Freunde to Dave's Car ID Service Oktoberfest Beer Truck Special! Cue the oompah music and roll out the barrel, because we're going to toast some dandy sudsmobiles today. To wet your whistle: Happy Repeal! Not really a beer hauler here, but a 1932-34 Ford B truck modified as a mobile advertisement to announce Prohibition is over and it's time to buy a Blatz Old Heidelberg again. Note the loudspeaker; you can almost hear it pumping out "Happy Days Are Here Again."

davescaridservice this flower bed is at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Gardens. Wonder if it will ever see the road again! ;)
I prowl this twisted asphalt jungle identifying cars in people's old family photos. Got one, pal? Just post it with password davescaridservice and I'll be on the case. My name is Burge. And I'm a car dick.
