Watch this, please. What a remarkable, courageous, and kind person. His admiration for the unarmed teacher who took on the shooter shines through. Please pray for him. He's carrying a lot -- there is such a cost to taking a life, even when it's necessary.
Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot.
Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives.
He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter.
"I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..."
"I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."
The other disheartening thing about the Elliot discourse is Virginia Mollenkott is seen as diabolical or slippery purely by virtue of her sexuality and her feminist activism.
It’s always pure motives for those placed on the good team and pure agenda for those deemed enemy.

I don’t have a child but just letting a baby cry with no response is cruel. Crying is how they tell you they need assistance.

Paul worked with Priscilla, called Phoebe a diakonos, identified Junia as an apostle, and praised Euodia and Syntyche as gospel coworkers. Apparently, Paul spent his ministry recruiting women as coworkers—and then supposedly wrote Timothy to ban the very thing he was doing. 🤣

I’ve sent a request to provincial leaders asking the ACNA to publicly release a statement freeing all individual complainants from the current NDA. My understanding is a new, less draconian policy takes effect 1 Jan 2027, but that does nothing for all those who have already signed, who assume they are bound by this uncanonical (to say nothing of anti-Christ) garbage.

An idea for easy improvement in the ACNA College of Bishops - collectively meditate on 1 Corinthians 6, esp. verse 8: "The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means that you are thoroughly defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?"

Hey folks!
Recently I got a note from a friend excited that the church she was attending was using my paintings on the screen from Four Holy Gospels @crossway. She was excited that my works were being used. She even sent a photo of it.
The problem: they did not ask my permission to do so. The artist owns the copyright to their works even if it is used in a book. Even if the presenter gives attribution, the presenter must ask for written permission.
The photo showed that the colors were way off. It made me sad.
Digital images flatten my images. If I am presenting and using images, I spend at least half an hour to color correct the projector color temps (they are often too “hot”). I never use my works as stand-alone images nor as projected images and I never overlay or crop. This is to protect the integrity of the original.
Churches - please respect the copyright of artists. Thank you.

My friend Rick was a vulnerable person who needed help and pastoral support. Instead he was threatened by his bishop and inhibited. He went to police. He talked to lawyers. When he should have been protected and defended by his Archbishop, Steve Wood upheld the inhibition, already found by the court to be a “loathsome” act of abuse. Foley likewise told him to “fall on [Derek’s] mercy” and admit anything he had done, saying further that Rick could be deposed if he did not respond to these threats, and that there was nothing anyone else could do. Ray Sutton was likewise brought in according to documents as this was an “ecumenical affair”. These men are shameless! They know I can prove it all right now and they still won’t admit it to the Church!

'There is more that could be said here, but the point is that in an effort to protect the faith, the ACNA began to adopt old imperial models of church government which subtly but seriously removed laity from the government process, and put us into old models of church life.

So Deb Tepley who allegedly granted a member of the Ruch court access to Dropbox folders owned by Rachel Thebeau, the assistant to the Provincial Prosecutor in the Ruch trial, and then is accused of not disclosing this decision to the parties or other members of the Court now sends an email about the transcripts concluding:
"we appreciate these letters, and understand this matter to now be considered closed. Thank you for keeping our office informed throughout this process."
And we are supposed to accept that? I suggest that any diocese involved stop giving money to the Province until these folks are fired for cause.
Meanwhile, Bishop David Bryan served as the President of the Court and sends an email saying "The letters speak for themselves and in my view, bring an end to this pursuit."
It's like Nixon bringing an end to Watergate.

Agreed! Here's some persistent questions for folks to consider: who were the presenters vs Bp Edgar? what was the specific charge? what evidence or testimony other than the allegations were considered, if any? what are the specific terms of censure? why do the bishops act like they own this process? how are the people of Bp Edgar's diocese supposed to know the state of their relationship with their bishop if none of this is published?

Ask hard questions of any organization you're a part of. Especially the church. Because well-worded but generic statements are insufficient to build trust or demonstrate integrity.
This article is essential reading for those in the ACNA. 📣
