🚨Job alert in theory/math devbio 🚨
I’m currently advertising postdoc positions to join my group. We’re building reaction-diffusion models to understand some of the crazy things embryos can do. We are based in a beautiful part of Scotland. Please share! abdnjobs.co.uk/vacancy/resea…

This is a groundbreaking study for pericyte fans. We discovered the unique pericyte marker Higd1b which only labels pericytes without any off-target effect from other mural cells. @ATS_PC @AHAScience @vascularbiology

🚨New preprint from our #EDITLab, a joint effort from @S_Marzban (PhD in mathematics), Curtis Gravenmier (MD in Pathology), challenging the current "Cancer Stem Cell" hypothesis in ALL.
Our preprint
"Cell state transitions drive the evolution of disease progression in B-lymphoblastic leukemia"
We used a Markov model to estimate transitions between leukemic subpopulations, showing predictors of BCR::ABL1 status & MRD in B-ALL

CHOIR is officially published @NatureGenet. No more arbitrary decisions in clustering. Add this to your single-cell toolbox - it will save you so much heart ache. And now it can scale to millions of cells. Compliments of the very talented @cathrine_sant.
CHOIR is now online @NatureGenet! CHOIR is a new clustering method for single-cell data that evaluates whether clusters represent statistically distinct cell populations. CHOIR scales to millions of cells and works with single-/multi-omic data of any type!
