Meghan Markle is getting more heat for being the daughter of an alleged paedophile than (Prince) Andrew got for actually being the alleged paedophile.

Barnaby Joyce racked up $675K in expenses in 3 weeks as drought envoy. He says he sent texts to PM Scott Morrison who blocks FOI requests & refuses to release phone records. Retweet if you want a forensic audit & a police investigation with all documents made public. #auspol ICAC

I’m done with ā€˜em. @ScottMorrisonMP gifting hard earned taxpayer money to his business mates & donors makes him the most shameless & unethical PM ever. @JoshFrydenberg’s JK prudential failure makes him the most incompetent Treasurer ever. EPBC discussions over @sussanley! #auspol

Josh Frydenberg wrote off over $40 billion in JobKeeper payments illegally taken by corporate donors. It wasn't his money. It was yours. #auspol Is it any wonder we owe a trillion dollars?

Yeah except they didn't. He was 21 and apparently made some comments to two women by messenger. They investigated (this was a decade ago) - I remember it well because of the amount of bullshit it was. He flung open his messenger and phone and in the end there was fuck all to do other than give him some training on communicating with people. Case closed. Ten years on, two disgrunted former WA greens staffers and another woman who is a party member are supporting Sophie McNeill and Jordon has an AVO against a woman who is being investigated by the police over these issues. The allegations by Jordon (this is not related to other AVOs against her by others) are of coercive control and family and domestic violence. He has spoken about this in the media yesterday. His mother and ninety year old grandmother are still terrified. And then he votes against a controversial bill that Labor and the Coalition have teed up to pass - I have been tweeting about this tonight - and on closer look, Sarah Hanson Young's partner is right in the thick of all of this, with Gazard and Briggs, Morrison's mate. And data centres and AI and automated decision making. He stuck his head out too far and they snapped it off. And yes, Labor have dumped a bunch of this shit as well, because this serves their purpose well, given that Jordon is a credible threat and so are the Greens. It would also make complete sense, given that this landed on the day of @DavidShoebridge's pre selection for Federal Parliament, that opponents might want to paint him as unable to control the Party. Right? And demand that there is a re election. Nobody should be reappointed at all or appointed until this shit is sorted out independently, including shitfuckery in the WA Greens and their former staff. Because this stinks. It is electoral interference, it is bullying and harassment and it is the type of grubby politics that should be called out immediately, no matter who it is against, but most certainly when it is against a victim of violence, abuse and neglect. What a shitshow. (NB: I asked the bot to give me a rundown on DPG and it came up with this. DPG Advisory Solutions is a Canberra lobbying firm linking former Morrison insider Scott Briggs, Coalition strategist David Gazard and Ben Oquist, husband of Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young. In 2021, DPG received a $79,950 Home Affairs contract, just $50 below the competitive tender threshold, without an apparent competitive process. An independent investigation subsequently found that department secretary Mike Pezzullo breached the public service Code of Conduct by failing to declare a conflict involving Briggs. Meanwhile, Hanson-Young claimed approximately $50,000 in taxpayer-funded family flights, reportedly involving Oquist travelling between Adelaide and Canberra, where he works as a corporate lobbyist. The official expenses review excluded those Canberra flights. None of this establishes misconduct by Oquist or Hanson-Young, but the combination raises serious questions about political access, public money and conflicts of interest. And gosh, from what I know about Gazard, TPG and their clients - including Salesforce - that is the tip of the fucking iceberg. Nobody can be responsible for the actions of their spouses, but - they need to fling the doors open and let some sunshine in. And I want to know the spouses interests, too. )

So, no income tax from these data centres and AI, no fuel tax on EV’s, $7billion lost from the stupid tobacco tax. So, how are they going to plug the holes?

With the RW #MSM repositioning of Josh Frydenberg, the worst (Jobkeeper, massive debt, forever in red budgets) treasurer since the abacus was invented. Taken to the edge of internal combustion by former SA Premier Jay Weatherill. Hello Josh. Thanks for the reminder @lagoonki

Mossad Minns wants people to stop sharing this image
NSW Premier Chris Minns would like everyone to stop sharing the image that depicts him as an Israeli Mossad agent wearing Israeli military uniform and surrounded by surveillance cameras and drones. Minns insists he has no ties to the Israeli government.

Dear Shire of Ashburton. I think you should know Ben Cousins threatened to bury his wife in her car and to bring her children by so she could hear them playing as she suffocated to death. He also told her: 'I am going to kill you. I'm going to take your life and freedom and the things you love the most'. He was convicted on a charge of aggravated stalking and he breached a domestic violence order more than 20 times. I can only surmise that you have no idea of Cousins' history of domestic violence given you've booked him to be the guest speaker at a community awards night. This includes having him present an award to young people - that's a really shit decision given the children of abusers are also victims. Would you like the boys and young men in your community to aspire to be Ben Cousins or would you like them to respect women? I notice the council provides support for local anti-violence campaigns and for organisations working with domestic violence victim-survivors. All of this good work disappears when you platform domestic violence perps. You may not have noticed, but Australia has lost 55 women to violence this year and all but three were killed by men. Male violence against women is increasing but you are sending a message to young men and boys that hurting women is no impediment to glorification. If Cousins take the stage on your big night, you will be telling women that our concerns about male violence are nothing compared to this man's public standing.

David Shoebridge happens to be one of the finest, most decent, most principled politicians to set foot inside our federal parliament. There are some very sad, delusional rusted-ons galloping to Labor's predictable call-to-arms and suddenly finding fault with Shoebridge's wife's property or his sock color or whether he uses Colgate toothpaste or whether he spoke to the right journalist that one time. Your slavish devotion to the cult and lack of critical thinking shows you up, nobody else. You want action on climate change? A liveable planet? An end to billions of dollars wasted on AUKUS and forelock tugging to the USA? You want somebody - anybody - in federal parliament holding them to account? Then spend your time and energy focusing on the enemy, instead of wasting bullets on your own troops. .
