It's why we speak out for safer school zones from the Board of Education to Annapolis, advocate for more crosswalks, lower speed limits and more traffic calming - and why we're #PGCPSProud to support the @CityofMtRainier's Vision Zero efforts on pedestrian and traffic safety.

November is Native American Heritage Month!
Mount Rainier ES gladly celebrates the history and culture of the first Americans. Prince George's County has always been home to the Accokeeks, Piscataways and Susquehannocks. Their legacy and contributions are cherished and honored!

Thank you, @CelinaMtRainier.
Being a principal or teacher can be such a demanding job with new challenges every day, many unpaid hours of extra work outside of school, & not nearly the pay our educators deserve. #PGCPSGrateful to Principals Till and Hintz for everything they do.
On Principal Appreciation month, we wanted to say thank you to Principal Till @MRESprin and Principal Hintz.
We are very fortunate to have two wonderful principals who love their community and we love them!!

What a past month!
When you're a small neighborhood school, you get used to working harder. But with @MRESprin & our wonderful teachers leading the way, our terrific parents & students & our Little PTO That Could, there's nothing we can't do. Great work, Team MRES! #PGCPSProud
