Wet and windy (we even got hail!) for stage 1 training today. Névé did 5 basic find sequences really well so I’m very proud of him. Felt like a huge leap forward in progress.
Massive thanks to the bodies for coming out in such horrendous weather

Next week, and not long after her second birthday, @searchdogwillow has her pre-assessment for the final stage of @MRSearchDogsEng training, hopefully becoming fully qualified early in the new year. Good luck to her and her handler John!

Three of our dog handlers made the most of the winter weather this weekend on Eyam Moor. Search dog Dottie and trainee search dogs Hope and Ebba practiced finding people buried in the snow. Hope and Ebba are sisters, no prizes for guessing which one Dottie is. @MRSearchDogsEng

Trainee Search Dog Merryn and her handler, Matt, are now learning to search larger areas in Stage 2 of their @MRSearchDogsEng training. After around 10 minutes she found the dogsbody (Craig) this weekend up a Tor in Dartmoor. And she still had energy for a play (and a cuddle).
