Plenty of ex-players there. This is the Manly way. The DNA of all the success the club has had. Every time we move away from it, success moves away too.
Let's embrace the Spirit of '72!

The reason my Dad Followed Manly was because of Max. At the time, first Yugoslavian Captain. Meant a great deal to countrymen who came to Australia for a better life. Srečan Rođen Dan Max!

What an Icon of the club and the district, after a thousand games in the early shift playing behind Freddie Jones he goes on to be a Manly Immortal
One of my alltime favourite and Australian Captain and his record is so great at club and Aussie level

One of our best. Captained Australia in some club games on the 1978 Kangaroo Tour, and a part of the record setting 1979 team that won the Ashes series.

Essential part of our 1987 winning team. Filled in admirably in the absence of Kevin Ward, and played his part in the GF win. Underrated forward who never let us down.

Paul was a big part of our success in 1987. The original super sub during the headbin era.

Our captain in our very first Grand Final, in 1951. Represented Australia too.

What a player, played for a hundred years and from what I’ve read and seen and remember he was a fantastic hooker and tough as old boots
I still vividly remember him no jersey doing lap of honour after the 72 GF on the full back page of the Sunday Mirror
Great player Great Man

I've read about Johnny being a beach sprint champion. Imagine a race against Jason Saab. Would be close.
The first of many great wingers for our club.
