“We won didn't we Sarge?”
“That's it lad, you can go home now,
the fightings done and we won.”
“It doesn't feel like we won Sarge”
What with so many young men and women dead. So many lives ruined.”
“No lad, it doesn't
but we survived, so we won.” “What'll I do now Sarge?
“You'll be fine lad.
They're making a land fit for heroes back home ”They'll take care of you".
“But Sarge, my mind's a mess and my body sore I really don't know who I am anymore. How will I survive the peace?”
“Don't you worry lad you've done your duty,They'll look after you.”
“Hello Sarge it's been a few years
we've shed a few tears and time has passed,
But we're still here eh Sarge,We won.”
“How you keeping lad?
Did they keep their promises
As you kept yours
fighting in their wars?”
“No Sarge, I sleep rough on the street and my mental health isn't good.I have to beg for help but you know Sarge, I don't like to. But we won though, didn't we Sarge.Just they forgot to build a land fit for heroes.”
“Aye lad, we won.
Here's five pounds.Go get yourself a coffee lad. There's no more I can do.Since I got back home I've been just the same as you.”
“But we'll get through it won't we Sarge?”
“Of course lad, we always do.We have to we owe it to our fallen comrades. They may forget us and the promises made leaving our heroes on the street. But we never forget.
No lad. We never forget.”

26 OCTOBER 2017 A statue was unveiled in Congleton to honour Treo, the courageous military dog whose work in Afghanistan helped save many lives. 🐾🫡
On this day in 2017, people gathered in Congleton, Cheshire, to remember a very special soldier.
Not a general.
Not a politician.
Not even a human being.
But Treo; a black Labrador English Springer Spaniel crossbreed, an arms and explosives search dog, and one of the bravest animals ever to serve with the British Armed Forces. A remarkable military dog
Treo served with the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and worked alongside his handler, Sergeant Dave Heyhoe.
Together they were deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, where Treo’s role was to search for hidden explosives and improvised explosive devices; work that required extraordinary training, discipline and courage.
And courage he certainly had. According to the official citation for his PDSA Dickin Medal; often described as the animal equivalent of the Victoria Cross, Treo located a deadly “daisy chain” IED on 15th August 2008 while acting as forward protection for 8 Platoon, The Royal Irish Regiment. The device had been placed on a roadside used by British troops and was capable of causing devastating casualties.
Then, on 3rd and 4th September 2008, Treo’s actions were again credited with saving soldiers from what were described as guaranteed casualties. Without his skill, focus and devotion to duty, lives would almost certainly have been lost.
Treo was awarded the PDSA Dickin Medal on 24th February 2010. The medal is the highest honour an animal can receive for gallantry or devotion to duty in military conflict. It was richly deserved. Treo’s service was not dramatic in the way films sometimes portray heroism. It was quieter than that; patient, disciplined, alert, and absolutely vital. He went ahead so that others might live.
After retiring from the Army in 2010, Treo spent the final years of his life in Congleton with his handler, Dave Heyhoe. He died in 2015, but his story was not forgotten. Two years later, on 26th October 2017, a life-size bronze statue was unveiled near the entrance to the Community Garden on Lawton Street. The memorial was created by sculptor Amy Goodman and made possible by support from the local community.
It stands not only as a tribute to Treo himself, but also to the wider service and sacrifice of military animals.
Animals such as Treo are sometimes affectionately remembered as mascots, but that risks understating what they really were. Treo was a working military dog operating in a war zone.
He was part of a team.
He undertook dangerous duties.
And he helped bring soldiers home alive.
That deserves remembrance.
The words associated with Treo’s memorial are especially fitting:
“Search & Secure DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF
TREO 63 DM AND OTHER SERVICE ANIMALS WHO LOYALLY SERVED US”
They remind us that military service has not always been carried only by people. Horses, pigeons, dogs and many other animals have played crucial roles in war, often facing the same dangers as the humans beside them. Treo’s story is one of loyalty, training, trust and courage. And thanks to the people of Congleton, his name and service continue to be remembered.
We remember Treo and all the service animals who have served with courage alongside our Armed Forces.

Gerry...
Did you plant any trees in memory of all the Catholics murdered by the Provisional IRA, of which you have "intimate" knowledge?
You don't need to reply...
We already know the answer...

The lad who manages that Weatherspoon pub “The Star” in Gosport, and who banned people wearing poppies is sadly typical of so many others. The product of woke politicians, media, police and teachers who have indoctrinated him and so many others to lose sight of the fact that some things are above politics, contribute to who we are, represent our values, and must be protected.
They have been taught that those who choose to take offence at things like the poppy have a right to be offended, and that the rest of us who say “Tough, it’s ours, it is important and we will never give in are the problem. No. We are not.
The poppy is not political. The poppy is a unifying symbol of national Remembrance and if you don’t like it, damn well lump it. You are not a part of this, my nation. 🇬🇧🌺
Courage and Honour stand where Heroes fall.

IRA has gone away. Watch BBC documentary on the Robert McCartney murder. See how the IRA swung into action to seal off & clean up the crime scene, how witnesses were identified threatened, how the victims were intimidated. Everything shows an active controlled organisation.

PETITION STARTED BY LEAH’S PARENTS - please sign and share 🙏
Our daughter Leah Croucher went missing on 15 February 2019, walking to work. Her body was found three and a half years later, in the loft of a house half a mile from our family home.
The man who killed her, Neil Maxwell, was a convicted sex offender with a history of serious offending going back to 1998. Months before Leah disappeared, he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman and was sentenced to a Community Order, not prison. The Probation Service wrongly classified him as medium risk instead of high risk. He then missed a number of Probation appointments, and a police officer raised concerns about his lack of communication just weeks before Leah went missing. He evaded arrest for six months. During that time, he murdered Leah and took his own life.
The Coroner ruled that Leah was unlawfully killed, and that failures by the Police and Probation Service in monitoring Maxwell "may have played a part" in her death.
That's why we, Leah's parents, are calling for Leah's Law: a mandatory minimum prison sentence for anyone convicted of a third sexual offence.
Mandatory minimums already exist for domestic burglary and Class A drug trafficking. There's no justifiable reason sexual offending should be treated more leniently. By a third conviction, it is self-evident that the offender has not been sufficiently deterred from further offending.
Where a case falls below that threshold, we are calling for a District Judge to oversee sentencing in all repeat sexual offence cases, so a decision like the one that let Maxwell walk free can never be made again.
This would have ensured he had no opportunity to kill Leah, and that the risk he presented on his release would have been vastly reduced.
Sign for Leah, and for every family this could still protect.

🚨 VOLUNTEER IMAM JAILED FOR SIX YEARS AFTER SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TWO GIRLS AGED JUST FIVE AND SEVEN
Shah Masukur Rashid, 45, exploited his position as a volunteer Quranic tutor at a mosque in Cheltenham to gain unsupervised access to young children in family homes.
Between October 2018 and January 2019, he sexually touched two girls, aged five to seven, over and under their clothing.
Gloucester Crown Court convicted Rashid of six counts of sexual assault — two involving one girl and four involving the other.
His abuse came to light after the children were overheard describing him as “creepy”. When relatives questioned them, the girls disclosed what he had done during their Quran lessons.
Rashid was supposed to be teaching children, not abusing the trust placed in him by their families. He was jailed for six years.
WTaF.. 😳 🤬
VETERANS wearing a Poppy are BANNED from from Wetherspoons
WOW. Manager of Gosport Wetherspoons states it’s ‘Company policy’ to not allow anyone in with a Remembrance Poppy on as it ‘could be political’
I can’t believe what I just heard from our nations biggest pub chain.

This is the most sickening thing I've seen in a while.
YouTuber Small Brained American visits an Afghan village, and their local doctor has LOCKED his female staff in a room from the outside. He is completely casual about holding them prisoners.
During the whole trip they've repeatedly told him to not film women, and pretend like they don't exist.
I don't think Westerners understand what true misogyny and gender apartheid looks like - let alone what happens if you mass import hundreds of thousands of fighting age men from this culture.
They quite literally do not consider their own women human at all.
Imagine how they feel about your daughters.

⚖️ RETIRED JUDGE JONATHAN DURHAM HALL KC - A JUDGE WHO SHOWED COMPASSION
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall KC refused to jail a 15-year-old girl who had stabbed a 56-year-old man who had sexually abused her during childhood.
Originally charged with wounding with intent, she later pleaded guilty to a lesser offence.
The judge decided custody would be inappropriate given her traumatic past and the circumstances of her life, imposing a supervised two-year youth rehabilitation order instead.
He also refused to make her pay the mandatory victim surcharge, declaring:
“If anyone tries to force you to pay it, I will pay it myself.”
That decision led to a formal reprimand from the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office.
Judge Durham Hall KC has now retired.
Whatever the disciplinary
consequences, his handling of this case showed a willingness to consider the trauma behind a young person's actions, rather than simply punish without context.
I hope he is enjoying a long, peaceful and happy retirement.

🚨 A 15-year-old boy was woken by four West Midlands Police officers banging on his door.
Fraser, a schoolboy and Reform UK activist, was arrested in front of his neighbours, bundled into a police car and held overnight in a cell. His mugshot and DNA were taken; even his shoes were confiscated. While he was in the cell, officers searched his bedroom at home.
His “crime”? Criticising a Conservative councillor for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a council meeting, then joking on social media that the councillor “was not looking like a rent boy” when he wore a suit.
Fraser also posted an altered photograph of the councillor wearing bunny ears.
In what self-respecting democracy should a child be arrested for criticising an elected politician?
The Free Speech Union is supporting Fraser and has taken on his case. His lawyers received an email from West Midlands Police stating that “it is alleged that your client’s comments could be considered a hate crime offence”. Months later, Fraser is still waiting to learn whether he will be charged.
Speaking to the New York Post, FSU Director of Legislative Affairs Sam Armstrong said: “Broadly speaking, several thousand people a year are being arrested for… ‘offensive speech’ in the UK.”
Since 2020, the FSU has handled more than 7,000 cases involving people whose free speech has been infringed and who have been punished for exercising it. More than 60,000 people have also been arrested for communications offences in the UK.
The First Amendment protects US citizens’ right to free speech. As Sam told the New York Post, it is the “global gold standard”.

You'd be surprised how often this happens. Several times Ive been met with abuse for trying to warn people - especially with children - that what they're doing is dangerous.
Tip tip on holiday in Kernow:
1) the waves are much bigger and stronger than they look
2) learn to spot rip tides
3) follow the fishermen - if fishermen appear on cliffs, gather your stuff and run like hell. The tide comes in very quickly here, and very powerfully. Fishermen know the water and only turn up when the tide is due in.
If the tide is already in, and there's nobody fishing - do NOT go in.
If the tide is out, and nobody is around - do NOT go in.
4) If there are no surfers/body boarders in the water - do NOT go in. Surfers, like fishermen, know the local waters better than you.
5) if a local tells you what you're doing is dangerous - listen to them: they know the water better than you.
6) if there are no lifeguards and you have your children with you - do NOT go in.

Horrific news: Australian MP Helen Haines will never walk again as a result of Monday’s far-left terror attack. Doctors had to amputate both her legs.
Her attacker was radicalised on the fringes of the Palestine movement in Australia. He supported the Houthis and expressed support for Hamas.
The anti-Israel movement in Australia has so much blood on its hands. 15 dead at Bondi and now an Australian MP forced to amputate both legs. Out of control. The anti-Zionists are literally a biblical plague on any nation that allows their movement to fester

Today's TEO Committee. Philip Brett was correct to raise Sinn Féin's hypocrisy. Their member had just raised the issue of an internal report into Jeffrey Donaldson and asked where it was. Brett then asked where Sinn Féin's reports were into various paedophiles.
For information : I wrote to Mary Lou Mc Donald weeks ago asking her party to appoint an independent reviewer to deal with various issues of child abuse that have arisen within their party. I am happy to speak to a reviewer. They won't appoint one.
I'm happy to repeat Philip Brett's claims here.
The Sinn Féin party has protected paedophiles. If they are unhappy with that allegation, they can see me in court.
