Cash is all that is stopping the last link to be forged in the chain that will forever bind us. It allows PRIVATE transactions not overseen by banks & governments - which is why they push so hard for it to be phased out. Often using the word "convenience" - but for them NOT us.
A sign in a local cafe. Support local independent businesses. Use cash wherever possible.

In an election, all parties come under much tougher scrutiny, many elections have started with incumbent parties choosing to go to the electorate with good poll ratings only to find them disappear into the mist once we get to look them firmly in the mouth!

York cobblestones. 2006 vs 2026. Well maintained in 2006. Can’t be arsed to maintain properly and just plaster with tarmac patches in 2026. British civic pride decay in a nutshell.

I'm seeing quite a bit of comment about this, so I want to make a couple of points. I'm not owed eternal agreement from any actor who once played a character I created. The idea is as ludicrous as me checking with the boss I had when I was twenty-one for what opinions I should hold these days. Emma Watson and her co-stars have every right to embrace gender identity ideology. Such beliefs are legally protected, and I wouldn't want to see any of them threatened with loss of work, or violence, or death, because of them. However, Emma and Dan in particular have both made it clear over the last few years that they think our former professional association gives them a particular right - nay, obligation - to critique me and my views in public. Years after they finished acting in Potter, they continue to assume the role of de facto spokespeople for the world I created. When you've known people since they were ten years old it's hard to shake a certain protectiveness. Until quite recently, I hadn't managed to throw off the memory of children who needed to be gently coaxed through their dialogue in a big scary film studio. For the past few years, I've repeatedly declined invitations from journalists to comment on Emma specifically, most notably on the Witch Trials of JK Rowling. Ironically, I told the producers that I didn't want her to be hounded as the result of anything I said. The television presenter in the attached clip highlights Emma's 'all witches' speech, and in truth, that was a turning point for me, but it had a postscript that hurt far more than the speech itself. Emma asked someone to pass on a handwritten note from her to me, which contained the single sentence 'I'm so sorry for what you're going through' (she has my phone number). This was back when the death, rape and torture threats against me were at their peak, at a time when my personal security measures had had to be tightened considerably and I was constantly worried for my family's safety. Emma had just publicly poured more petrol on the flames, yet thought a one line expression of concern from her would reassure me of her fundamental sympathy and kindness. Like other people who've never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she's ignorant of how ignorant she is. She'll never need a homeless shelter. She's never going to be placed on a mixed sex public hospital ward. I'd be astounded if she's been in a high street changing room since childhood. Her 'public bathroom' is single occupancy and comes with a security man standing guard outside the door. Has she had to strip off in a newly mixed-sex changing room at a council-run swimming pool? Is she ever likely to need a state-run rape crisis centre that refuses to guarantee an all-female service? To find herself sharing a prison cell with a male rapist who's identified into the women's prison? I wasn't a multimillionaire at fourteen. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous. I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women's rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges. The greatest irony here is that, had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me - a change of tack I suspect she's adopted because she's noticed full-throated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was - I might never have been this honest. Adults can't expect to cosy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend's assassination, then assert their right to the former friend's love, as though the friend was in fact their mother. Emma is rightly free to disagree with me and indeed to discuss her feelings about me in public - but I have the same right, and I've finally decided to exercise it.
“I think she’s going to find that you can’t sit on the fence... The real win is when ordinary people can say these things.” @DerryBanShee speaks to @joshxhowie about Emma Watson’s comments about JK Rowling. 📺 youtu.be/r2OGEITYe2Y

this was @KemiBadenoch ‘s weakest moment, and it could come back to haunt her. After the UK left the EU, it was KEMI BADENOCH’S responsibility to get rid of all EU laws, and she FUDGED IT, she FAILED. She LET DOWN 17.4 million voters. Our once beloved British Supermarkets, where torn to sheds by greedy globalist companies, YEARS AGO! Here are the principle shareholders, today: TESCO BlackRock inc - Vanguard Capital Management - HSBC Global Asset Management. Marks & Spencer BlackRock inc - Artemis Investment Management - Columbia Management Investment Advisers Morrisons Clayton, Dubilier & Rice - American Private EQUITY company, which is the worlds largest. ASDA TDR Capital Management - Mohsin Issa Sainsbury's BlackRock inc - Qatar Investment Authority - Vesa Equity Investment S.à r.l. HUGE Globalist behemoth BLACKROCK had shares in 3 of our supermarkets. Most of us have no idea about this & we just shop there out of habit & convenience. I still use them, if I need something the farm shop does not sell, but it absolutely breaks my heart, when I look at my fellow Big Supermarket shoppers today. And THIS is what I see when I look at supermarket shoppers, that really hurts... Ashen, grey faces etched with anxiety & worry, & glazed eyes devoid of a life spark, stare blankly at the food shelves. They are awfully overweight. Their hair is thinning & dull, & everyone looks so horribly ill & weary. They do not care any more, & shuffle around the supermarket aisles in their slippers & pyjamas. I am not seeing "people" I am seeing ZOMBIES! This hurts & I could sometimes weep. So now you know about the Big Supermarket shareholders, do you honestly believe they have our best interests & our health at heart? ALL they care about is PROFIT. & Big Supermarket, ULTRA PROCESSED, INDUSTRIALISED, mass produced, ultra low quality food they sell today, is loaded with chemicals & toxins, to extend shelf life, NOT for our health, is ultimately damaging. Our fruit is SPRAYED with Bill Gates "Apeel" spray to keep fruit shiny & fresh, when it is already rotting, inside. To extend shelf life & NOT for our health. So called "meat" pumped FULL of water & blasted with toxic gasses, is now filled with plant PROTEIN, THAT NON OF US ASKED FOR. Product packaging that screams the word "PROTEIN" so you will buy it, is most likely filled with ACHETA FLOUR, which is crushed INSECTS! There is an awful lot of protein in INSECT SHELLS. & EVERY time we shop, we are gifting our hard earned money to greedy globalist groups, who are all working towards humanity enslaving Agenda 2030. If you can, lovely people, PLEASE avoid these temples to disgusting, toxic food, known as the Big Supermarkets.

An illegal migrant held an 83-year-old woman at gunpoint. She was having lunch at home with her husband in a quiet Lanarkshire village when they were alerted to a break-in. In their bedroom, they found Chirag Solanki with a firearm, a five-inch knife, cable ties, duct tape and a balaclava. Solanki ‘held a firearm against her temple with his right hand and a knife to her throat with his left hand’. He was in our country illegally. Yet he was left to roam free and terrorise British citizens. Every crime committed by such people is the result of Tory and Labour failure to uphold immigration law. Reform will end this madness. We will take our country back.

A reward for his efforts in helping to bring down former Prime Ministers. He really isn’t a man they want to spill the beans given what he knows. Passionate about the council of Europe - an ardent Remainer who would never vote to leave the ECHR like many of those being selected for Tory seats. His choice of companions at events in a world of social media is both brave and fascinating. It’s not Kemi who runs the Conservative Party. I’m amazed there are still people who think she Rishi, Boris et al ever did.
Another interesting "direction of travel" decision here. Kemi's "New" Conservative Party has re-selected REMAINER Roger Gale as a parliamentary candidate. Gale is 83, and recently REFUSED to vote for ECHR withdrawal, and in fact called the idea of leaving "a grave mistake." He was previously suspended from parliament for attempted to influence judges to protect a sexual assault convict, his friend and former MP Charlie Elphicke. Tell us, @KemiBadenoch, Is this really a NEW Conservative Party? Or is it the SAME OLD TORIES?

The decline in the UK over the last thirty years is a direct result of the standard of MPs we have elected. We have let the wrong people run the country for the last thirty years, took our eye off the ball. Now we need to take that control back, before the country is destroyed.

Clotted cream is the richest dairy product in the British kitchen, nearly two thirds fat, and it was invented as a way of keeping milk in a county with no ice. The method is older than anyone can trace. Fresh milk from the morning is left in a wide pan until the cream rises, then the whole pan is set over a very low fire or in a cooling bread oven for hours, never boiling, until a thick crust forms on top the colour of old gold. It cools overnight and the crust is lifted off with a skimmer. That crust is the cream, and the scalding is what kept it. Heated that way it lasted for days when fresh cream would have turned by teatime. Devon and Cornwall argued over it for centuries and still do. The Cornish got the legal protection in 1998, on condition that the milk is Cornish and the fat is at least fifty-five per cent, though the good stuff runs higher. The argument about whether the cream or the jam goes on the scone first has split the two counties for as long as there have been scones, and it is the only question in British food that people will genuinely fight over. If you grew up in the West Country it came in a cardboard tub with a crust you broke through with a knife, and it went on everything: the scone, the apple pie, the porridge, a spoon of it straight off the blade when nobody was looking. A pot sent by post to a relative in London was the standard Christmas present from Cornwall for a hundred years. It is milk with the water taken out and the fat left in, and it was the ordinary household food of the two poorest counties in England. The cream tea is now a treat you drive to and photograph. In 1930 it was what a dairy farmer's wife did with Tuesday's milk, and the fat was the whole point of doing it.

Labour, this party is now the government, is this ethical🧐 👇👇👇👇 Experian built Labour a database of over 1 million new mums. The data came from Emma's Diary - a pregnancy advice site that sold names, addresses and kids' ages without telling mums it would go to a political party. 😳🤦 ICO fined them £140,000. Labour used it to target mums in marginal seats before the 2017 election. A million women. One fine. Almost no press.
