Dear UCP Fans: If someone suddenly promised $330 mil for an arena, and $414 mil to transport students (but not teach them), but a school board will only receive about $110 mil in new funding to deal with increasingly complex kiddos, I'd have questions. Do YOU have questions?

The incident that took place last evening in Spruce Cliff was witnessed by many members of the public. We recognize it may be upsetting to those who witnessed it and want to ensure witnesses and those impacted by this event are connected with support. Our Victim Assistance Support Team (VAST), will be deploying a mobile trailer in Spruce Cliff today, Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 1 p.m., with trained volunteers for all those impacted by the incident yesterday. The exact location of the trailer be will determined once on scene, and this post will be updated then. VAST will be providing support, resources and information. For those unable to attend in person, VAST can be reached at 403-428-8398, or toll-free at 1-888-327-7828. VAST is a free service offered to all victims of crime or tragedy.

Citizens of Alberta, please meet our Premier. A very helpful thread on all the other injustices of the last 50 years that @ABDanielleSmith seems to have prioritized poorly.
So. The leader of my province, @ABDanielleSmith, on her first official workday, said that unvaccinated people were "the most discriminated against group that I've ever witnessed in my lifetime." @ABDanielleSmith was born in April 1971.
