Think of the power of frustration followed by perseverance and success for children, and for all of us. The pay-off is what forms and bolsters self-worth and self-efficacy. Confidence is built over time when I experience I am capable, I have value, and I can learn new things.

I just think it’s a valuable topic to consider, for teachers as well as for parents who are traveling through parenthood with other parents in learning communities and in future circles of community with growing children, valuable to consider the conscious and intentional work

All parents will find themselves being reactive, or yelling from time to time, and the most important thing we can do when we have ruptures with our kids, is repair.
