Played with Senior section today, always fun. Hit the longest drive I’ve ever hit. 75 year old I was playing with said, “bloody hell Ian, I don’t go that far for a holiday.” 😂 I love @MapperleyGolf Obviously 3 putted for a bogey 😜

Norway’s national investment in hydropower means 98% of their energy is renewable.
They then taxed the BP’s & Shell’s to create a sovereign wealth fund worth $1.4 trillion.
That fund was then used to pay 80% of people’s energy bills above a capped price.
Be more like Norway.

What a cracking photo from above Hazel Grove in Mapperley. Interesting how brown Gedling Country Park looks in contrast to the green of Mapperley Golf Club.
Many thanks to Phil James Drone Services for the photo. @FofGCP @MapperleyGolf #dronephotography

⛳ England presents some of the most stunning golf courses in the world and we’re proud to show these off at our fantastic Championship venues.
None of this would be possible without the amazing work of the thousands of greenkeepers up and down the country!

📆 Today is #ThankAGreenkeeper day!
It’s been a year like no other, but despite all of the challenges faced, greenkeepers at courses across the country have continuously worked hard to ensure the resumption of golf in 2021.
