Twitter has its crazies but it’s balanced out by its sheer size. You can kinda create your own community, including people you disagree with (just a bit more amicably lol)

These people don’t treat Apple like a company. They have a glorified version of its history in their head with zero failures, zero redundant products in the lineup, zero “ugly” devices, zero bowing to public opinion, etc.
I think we need to start gatekeeping these people out of the Apple community. Their understanding of Apple’s core philosophies and internal structure are incredibly ahistorical and oversimplified.
It’s sad to see Apple lose its design vision and taste. And I doubt it will ever get them back.
The problem is simple. In a company as big as Apple, it’s almost impossible for someone from design to become CEO.
We were lucky to see what happens when a company is defined by someone who thinks like a designer, not just a great salesperson, manager, or engineer.
So designers - build more. Create more. Start companies. Be CEOs.

What? In what world would that make sense? Windows 8 got shit not for supporting Touch but for redesigning a desktop OS all around it. How the fuck is optional Touch Input with basic UX optimizations around it in macOS anything close to that?!
No it doesn’t. Look at Forza. It sold well on Xbox and PC despite being on GamePass. GamePass never cannibalizes basically all sales to a degree that your theory would suggest.
