This sounds like a brilliant business school game.
I pointed Claude at the below post and it embedded all 146,060 Steam games, sampled 320,000 points between them, ranked them by how far they land from anything that exists, and used creative judgment to pick a winner... and it cooked!
It's pick: Short Position, a co-op factory tycoon where one player has secretly shorted the stock.
4–8 players run one industrial empire: mines, smelters, rail, contracts. There’s no kill button and no sabotage minigame. The traitor plays the factory game badly on purpose. Overbuild a warehouse, route ore to the wrong smelter, sign a contract with a penalty clause on page 4. Every move looks like an honest mistake.
The twist is that suspicion is expensive. Anyone can audit the production logs, but audits cost money and spook investors. The traitor doesn’t need to wreck the factory. They just need everyone paranoid enough to do it themselves.
Each quarter ends with an earnings call and a board vote. Fire an honest exec and you lose their whole department. Four quarters, ~40 minutes.
It sits farther from its nearest neighbors than 83% of real Steam games. Factory games have co-op, social deduction games have tasks, and nobody has made the work itself the place where you lie.

Around 1500, Hieronymus Bosch painted sheet music on a sinner's bare butt in hell. 500 years later, someone transcribed and performed it. Now you can hear the original butt song from hell.

You can train more doctors. You can grow organs. We are no where near the limits of solar and nuclear power. You can build new MRI machines. You can make pharmaceutical factories. We have vastly more fossil fuel for making plastics than we know what to do with. And anyway, we can turn CO2 back into oil with the Sabatier reaction + nuclear power.
There is not limited resources, only a limited mindset.
There is no system where everyone can have all the healthcare they want.
There are a limited number of doctors. There are a limited number of organs. There is a limited amount of energy to build hospitals and power HVAC systems and pharmaceutical production lines. There is a limited amount of oil to make the plastic for syringes, gloves, IV bags, and so on. There is a limited amount of money to pay for all of this.
In every system, someone has to make life-or-death decisions about who gets healthcare and who doesn't. It might be the government, it might be insurance companies, it might be the free market.
But deciding how to prioritize the distribution of limited, life-saving resources isn't "social murder". Those difficult decisions are just the reality of living in a world without infinite resources.
If you don't like rationing heathcare, then we need robot surgeons and AI doctors who are as reliable as humans. We need abundant energy to build power the machines that save people's lives. We need more pharmaceutical companies with bigger factories to make more life-saving medicine. And we need more billionaires - people to build the companies that create this abundance and pay the taxes that help hold the whole system together.
If you want to charge anyone with "social murder", point the finger at degrowthers who insist on dividing the current pie instead of growing it to save lives.

How to give an AI rights
1. Given: corps have rights
2. Start a corp
3. Automate corp into an AI DAO
4. Done! It's an AI, it has rights

"Why is formal verification exploding NOW?"
1. Cost of proofs is going DOWN (as AI gets more capable)
2. Cost of exploits is going UP (as AI gets more dangerous)
3. Proofs exterminate exploits
4. Bonus: proof checking = perfect math/coding RL reward
The rest is economics
I don't what this genre of horror is, but I like it
I came to realize people liked the french #slopcore without having the lyrics 😅 sorry!
So here is a version with english subtitles!

I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.
• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 agent
• Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch
From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

I know many people despairing over AI because their job is now being a meat proxy for AIs, or their intellectual project is now unnecessary.
The promised compensation for this loss is UBI, i.e. you will be on welfare forever.

PSA: in light of recent cyberattacks and vulnerabilities, I recommend everyone:
* use a good password manager (1Password) and do not duplicate passwords
* use two factor auth for everything important (not via sms!! Google Authenticator or better yet YubiKey)
* Auto-updates on, and restart weekly so they actually install
* Freeze your credit
* Get an IRS Identity Protection PIN
* Get your cell carrier to give you a port-out PIN or number lock that makes the carrier refuse to move your number without the PIN
You can ask your claude code to audit what on your laptop is out of date and needs updating.
