Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
-------------------
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen
Christ Is King!

Some of the kindest people smoke, drink, and swear. Some of the cruelest sit in the front pew, smile on TV, walk the red carpet, hold public office, or run charities. A polished image doesnโt prove good character. Watch how they treat peopleโespecially when nobodyโs looking.

Qualifications and why I am the best option:
My foundation is my faith and my family, and the work I have done. That life (not politics) has helped prepared me to make important decisions, because Iโve lived the same everyday struggles as the people Iโm asking to serve.
For the last 7 years Iโve been a Drilling Site Manager overseeing hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of contracts each year. Nearly 24 years in oil and gas has taught me how to lead, I started roughnecking at 18, I was running a crew at 22, managing a rig at 25, and supervising multiple rigs by 30. At 35 I moved to the oil company side. Over more than 20 years of managing people, Iโve worked with thousands of men and women from all over the world. That work taught me fiscal discipline, how to recruit good people, how to build a plan, and how to get near impossible jobs done. It also taught me how to work hard and still make a workplace worth showing up to, how to learn, teach, stay understanding, and stay passionate. The ground up approach.
Some will say Iโm not qualified to be governor. Iโm the only candidate in this race with no political ambitions, also the only one who has never lived off of the government. Iโm running to be an honest public servant, and Iโm ready to work for you. I have proven over the last 2 years that I will fight for the people and I will fight the waste, fraud and abuse in state government.
Iโm running as the Libertarian candidate for Governor of Arkansas because it is the party of moral principles. I grew up in Cecil, Arkansas, and loved that community enough that nearly 23 years ago I bought a house there. I married Elizabeth Burt Shelby in 2006. We have three children: Riley (23), Cooper (21), and Truett (10). Iโve attended the same church for over 30 years.
About 10 years ago we started buying land for a dream farm. Today we run cattle on 240 acres and lease another 500 acres where we bale hay. I love my job and I love my farm, but I am willing to sacrifice leaving all of this for 4 years to secure the future for our beautiful Arkansas.

For those who say that "boomers had it easy".....
When i got married and bought a house in 1988 it seems minimum wage was about 7 grand (base pay no OT). My home cost me 132k. Or about 19 times minimum wage pay
Average salary was 19k. (my house was 7 years salary) With a degree starting pay was around 26k. (my house was about 5 years salary)
We didn't get "parental leave". Or "family sick leave" or free medical (obama care ) or many of the benefits given today. There's a cost to all of those things. They don't get funded from thin air. All of that adds to your compensation package
Today my home is worth 4-5 times what i paid 38 years ago
Min wage in NY state is 17 an hour or 5 times what it was in 88
Average salary in NY about 103k more than 5 times what it was in 88
So house is 5 times what it was in 88. Min wage is 5 times what it was in 88. Average wage 5 times what it was in 88
Yes times are tough. But in 88 times were tough too!
I worked two full time jobs for years. At one stretch went 730 days with not a single day off from both jobs. No sick days. No vacation days. No holidays. Even worked when my daughter was born and went back to work after she was born later that day.
I don't resent people getting time with their families but we didn't get that 40 years ago. We never had it "easy"
Times were tough for boomers too
News flash. TIMES ARE ALWAYS TOUGH!
Go ahead. Bring on the hate now.

Counties across Arkansas are pushing back hard against massive data centers that threaten our water, land, power grid, and the Natural State's resources. And LEARNS continues to face growing pains and fiscal strain as the Education Freedom Accounts expand.
Let these two words sink in: Regnat Populusโ"The People Rule. "Arkansas belongs to its citizens, not unelected authorities or top-down overreach. Time to listen to the people, protect our constitution, and prioritize sustainable growth that doesn't sacrifice what makes our state special.@SarahHuckabee has lost so much ground to government overreachโand the people of Arkansas are winning because of it.
The proposed Northwest Arkansas Regional Industrial Development Authority (IDA) was rejected by Benton, Washington, and Madison counties over legitimate fears of unelected boards wielding eminent domain, tax breaks that shortchange schools and locals, and overriding community zoning.
The Board of Corrections (BOC) fight highlighted real separation-of-powers issues. Even if temporary appointees shifted control, the underlying constitutional questions remain serious and demand respect for Amendment 33โnot just political maneuvering. @AGTimGriffin and the DUAL Careers in the executive branch. @JBarkerAR
