🔊To those asking, “How can we help Afghan women?”
First, share their voices. In a time when even speaking puts women at risk, being heard means hope, visibility, and survival.
Second, support our online education program. Despite fear and restrictions, Afghan girls are secretly continuing their studies. You can help by sponsoring internet access so students can attend online classes, or by volunteering as a teacher and sharing your knowledge with girls who have been denied education.
Third, support food aid for widows and women living alone who have no male provider in the household and are often too afraid to go outside.

💔Please, world, hear the voices of Afghan women. Slogans alone are not enough.
Last night, one of our members from Afghanistan heard a woman and her daughters screaming and crying as the husband was beating them. By morning, the woman’s body was covered in bruises, and her daughters were also in a bad condition. When we asked what had happened, we learned that the husband wanted to marry a second wife and was telling his first wife that she could not have Son . When the wife and daughters opposed his decision, he started beating them.
💔 This is the respect women and girls receive inside their own homes. Outside their homes, schools and workplaces are closed to them, and they have been erased from society.
Please, world, hear the voices of Afghan women. Slogans alone are not enough.💔

In Gaza, Palestine, Israel continues to systematically destroy the conditions people need to survive through violence, the deliberate blockade of essential supplies, and the destruction of healthcare and vital infrastructure.

Iran President Pezeshkian at the UN:
"Those who are terrorists and train terrorists tell us that we are terrorists."
"For two hundred years, Iran has not attacked any country. For two hundred years, we have always defended ourselves."
"They bombed and killed these children, with weapons supplied by America and Israel. They were guilty of nothing. They had committed no crime."
"In Gaza, they murdered more than eighty thousand innocent people."
"Then they say others are terrorists, these are the ones causing instability -- are we the ones causing instability?"
"Anyone they want to destroy, they label a terrorist."
"Palestine remains a wound on the body of the conscience of the international community, and Gaza remains a symbol of the failure of international mechanisms to prevent the suffering of civilians."
"Israel murders thousands of people in Gaza every week. But Iran was bombed while at the negotiating table."
"Yet Israel receives billions of dollars in free weapons as a reward, and it is licensed to bomb any capital it wishes."
"The nuclear bombs are in Israel, but the inspectors are in Iran. Israel kills, yet Iran is sanctioned, and this is a tragedy that would make anyone you tell laugh."
"We must not build a world in which military power replaces legitimacy, sanctions replace diplomacy, terror replaces politics, and war replaces dialogue."
"We have found our answer. We need power. Because a nation that cannot defend itself, they crush it in this world."
"Let him know: the Iranian nation, in the face of force, will not bow its head, and will make the aggressors regret it."

I have never seen such a blatant double standard in my life.
In 2018, when 12 young Thai football players and their coach were trapped in a cave in Thailand, the world did not say, “They are not our citizens.” Britain sent some of its best cave divers. Australia sent doctors and rescue experts. The United States sent more than 40 military personnel and equipment. Countries came together and worked with the Thai authorities to get those children out.
And they did as clear in the video below. They saved all 13 of them.
Tonight, in Gaza, people woke up to the screams and cries of children, women, and elderly people after a six-story building known as the “Al-Saada” building collapsed. Nearly 100 people were sheltering inside. Dozens of tents surrounded the building. Many of those trapped under the rubble are children.
They are still under the rubble. So where are the international rescue teams?
Why aren't neighboring Arab countries sending rescue teams? Why aren't Western countries sending specialized teams to save whoever can still be saved?
My heart aches for my people in Gaza :(

🚨🎥 “Half an hour ago, there were still voices coming from inside this building. But unfortunately, the resources we have are not sufficient to reach them.”
At least 21 Palestinians, including 12 children and five women, were killed and 14 others injured after a six-story residential building damaged by Israeli attacks collapsed overnight in western Gaza City.
Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah that the building collapsed at around 3 a.m. as families were sleeping, crushing its six floors on top of one another. Dozens remain trapped beneath the rubble.
“The fate of these people will remain unknown until we can reach them,” Basal said, describing how rescuers lack specialized equipment to locate survivors beneath the concrete due to Israeli restrictions.
Basal said around 2,000 damaged buildings across Gaza are on the verge of collapse while still housing thousands of Palestinians who have nowhere else to go.
“Are there any alternatives? The truth is, there are no alternatives in Gaza,” Basal said. “Anyone who has experienced the misery of tents and the misery of living inside them cannot leave a concrete building to go back to a tent.”
With insufficient tents and shelter space, Basal appealed directly to the international community, ceasefire guarantors, Board of Peace, and its High Representative, Nickolay Mladenov: “What more are you waiting for?”

The building collapse in Gaza should be enough of a wake-up call for the international community to pressure Israel to allow reconstruction materials and caravans into Gaza.
Displaced Palestinians need safe places to live, and they need them now.

Every patient who needs to reach their dialysis appointment at Al-Shifa Hospital knows our yellow bus.
For them, seeing it arrive means relief. It means knowing they can get to their appointment on time and, after an exhausting dialysis session, make it safely back home. Please help: chuffed.org/project/113222-t…
For patients suffering from kidney disease and kidney failure, transportation is not a convenience. Dialysis is life-sustaining treatment, and missing appointments can have devastating consequences. Before this service, patients already weakened by illness were forced to struggle with unreliable, expensive, and often physically exhausting transportation before and after treatment, many resorted to just walking, taking hours to make it home.
The Sameer Project bus changes that.
It is not simply a bus. It is a lifeline connecting patients to the treatment keeping them alive. And we need you to make sure we continue to show up!
Your donations keep it moving. Support our General Fund: chuffed.org/project/113222-t…
