Quick update on my progress of moving (assuming anyone is interested haha): I got all my stuff into my appt yesterday afternoon and flaked out. I will be unpacking and settling in today. You can expect to see my solutions for the Puzzle of the Day challenge reappear this week.

My uni application was accepted! I move on-campus (and out of home for the first time) in 4 days. I'm excited and anxious 😋

T-minus 11ish hours until I find out if my university-transfer application has been accepted and possibly if I've earned a merit scholarship. Now it's time for bed, I'll inform the Twitterverse upon receiving any news.

This is a tricky one to show without trial and error in a calculator. I highly recommend giving this one a go if you haven't!

As rounding seems to be an issue in maths Twitter today, I feel that this should be shared widely.

Calculations where a consistent approach to rounding is critical are generally undertaken on computer, so it can be useful to refer to IEEE standards. IEEE754 gives four methods, as attached.
