🚨@theathletic: The consortium buying into #LFC has at least two options to increase its stake once it has been ratified as a part-owner by the Independent Football Regulator. The agreement has a structure that could lead to 1892 Holdings taking control of #LFC by increasing its claim to around 69 per cent, or potentially even complete a 100 per cent buyout. Amit Bhatia, a senior ownership figure at Queens Park Rangers for almost 18 years, has been a regular presence at Anfield since being installed as Liverpool’s vice-chairman in the summer, also attending away games.

It's mental, the guy has had 15 games, won 9, drawn 3 and lost 3. He's not had a full transfer window to sign players he wants, there are glaring holes in the squad left by the previous manager and hes trying to fix those and the play style. It's a job that'll take a few years.

Last week, Andoni Iraola was a brilliant appointment. This week, he’s not up to the job. No point lurching between such extremes so early on in his tenure when a number of the players responsible for last season’s mess keep making the same mistakes. A long road ahead.
