Someone please educate me. Why does the National Lotteries Commission not operate itself & needs a third party? This thing of just being a regulator & not operator is going to fuel the whole mafia take over & influence of state entities. There’s not much risk in self operating.

I understand Lewis!
'I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do.' Lewis Hamilton: "Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race." "It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling." "At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future." F1 2026 | Mexico

I’m watching the @top14rugby game between @StadeToulousain and @SectionPaloise and man these commentators are bias. They can’t help themselves. And across the weekend it seems to be such a common this. I wonder how people watching feel

It’s noble and well, and I guess in some cases easy, to talk about the changes you want or how much you’ve changed as a person. Until you’re confronted with situations where that change is applicable. That’s when the real work starts.

🚨He has changed the face of South African cricket - Shaun Pollock on Temba Bavuma in the comm box🚨 Shaun Pollock said :🗣️ "Temba Bavuma is a born leader. He brought in that hope to the South African cricket, he brought in the passion to always fight till the end, he brought in the fearless attitude. He has changed the face of South African cricket. We are thankful to what he brings to the table. This victory means a lot to him, and to his family. This guy leads from the front. He is a special guy, with special qualities. What a champion player. COURT ORDERS ANGELO AGRIZZI TO PAY STATE R1.66 BILLION IN BOSASA CORRUPTION PROCEEDS The Pretoria High Court has ordered former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi to pay the State R1 666 582 825.73 (R1.66 billion) following a confiscation enquiry linked to his role in the company’s extensive corruption network. Judge Mosopa ruled in favour of the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), finding that Agrizzi benefited from Bosasa’s unlawful activities and that the State was entitled to confiscate the proceeds. Key findings in the judgment: 🔴 Agrizzi was convicted in November 2025 after pleading guilty to three counts of corruption and one count of money laundering. 🔴 His plea agreement acknowledged a deeply entrenched corruption network at Bosasa, allegedly used to secure government contracts worth approximately R2.37 billion over more than two decades. 🔴 Approximately R75.7 million in bribes was paid between 2000 and 2016 to secure contracts. 🔴 The court found that Agrizzi had failed to make full and frank disclosure of his financial affairs and properties, including assets in Italy. 🔴 The judge rejected his argument that he could not be held liable for the wider criminal activities of Bosasa, finding that he had acted in common purpose with other executives. 🔴 The court also found that his salary, bonuses, investments and pension benefits could be considered benefits derived from unlawful activities. THE ORDER: Agrizzi must pay the State R1,666,582,825.73. Interest is payable from the date of judgment until final payment. He must also pay the State’s legal costs, including the costs of two counsel on Scale C. The judge emphasised that the purpose of a confiscation order is to ensure that criminals do not benefit from their ill-gotten gains.
