1) Use modern instruments to make remarkably precise measurments of natural processes.
2) Observe minor changes in the rates and magnitudes of these process.
3) Splice this precise data onto granular reconstructions from proxies.
4) Draw some trend lines.
5) Attribute all changes to anthropogenic GHG emissions.
6) Claim there is an emergency.
7) Rinse and repeat.
