For those that haven't been following the Tommy Robinson story... it's INSANE he was convicted of anything.
Back in August 2024 Tommy is on a family holiday in Cyprus posting about the riots, and the Daily Mail decides this is so important it sends a reporter and a photographer all the way to the island to find him, and according to Tommy they even took a photograph of his ex-wife, and then the story goes up and, as he told the jury, within hours people online were posting the name of the hotel he was staying at and telling others to head there, with his kids right there, so his family had to move to a different part of the hotel after he spoke to security, and he ended up leaving the hotel altogether...
...and so what does Tommy do?
He does the exact same thing back to them.
He finds out who wrote it, he hires investigators to locate them, he goes public with it and accuses one of the journalists of “doxxing my children’s location”, he rings one of them up and basically asks whether it would be OK if he did to them what they had done to him, which is literally the whole point, he’s holding up a mirror, and he told the court all he wanted was to question them on camera, the way reporters door-step people every single day, and that it was an attempt to bring the Daily Mail to the table, and even the prosecutor admitted none of it contained direct threats of violence, and yet the people who flew to another country to find him at his hotel are pretending they are the victims, and the man who found where they live and asked them how it feels is the criminal, and the jury couldn’t even agree, it was 10 to 2, and he’s going to be sentenced on December 16 for doing to the Daily Mail exactly what the Daily Mail did to him first, and we’re all supposed to just nod along like this makes perfect sense!!!!!!!
It's PURE INSANITY!!!!!!!

Important decisions for the editors of The Guardian and ITN. Do they bow to the emotional blackmail of an unnamed star threatening suicide if they publish the stories of the young women he allegedly sexually assaulted. Or do they respect the victims who want their stories told?

Calling someone a "Neanderthal" for suggesting we stop sending £6 Billion abroad while our own people are hammered by record taxes and failing public services tells you everything about the modern Conservative Party.
@AndrewmitchMP and the Tories would rather look after everyone else on the planet before the hard-working British taxpayers who pay their wages.
They think you're uncultured for wanting your money spent on our NHS, our roads, and our own communities.
The Tories haven't changed. They're still run by the same out-of-touch, high-tax globalists.
Charity begins at home. Britain needs @reformparty_uk 🩵
🚨 NEW: Tory MP calls Robert Jenrick a "Neanderthal" for backing cuts to £6 Billion spent on foreign aid.
• Tory MP Andrew Mitchell has described Jenrick as a “Neanderthal” in the House of Commons over his support for reducing the UK’s foreign aid budget.
• The response came following a question from Jenrick to Labour's Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband. "How would he justify to working people and pensioners spending £6 billion on foreign aid whilst freezing the tax-free person allowance and cutting the state pension?"
• Miliband backed up the Tory, by replying with "I would say to him, I think the answer came from the person who used to be in his party, the party he used to be in, which is that the money we spend on foreign aid is absolutely about preventing the problems from elsewhere in the world coming here."

If HMRC are allowed to take money from individuals’ bank accounts, as proposed in the budget today, then we are heading to a dark place.
This tool could be used against anyone deemed to be a threat by the government of the day.
🚨 NEW: John Healey is set to announce the following in his Budget later
- The gas standing charge will be scrapped to save £27 a year on a typical bill
- Green levies on energy bills will be scraped "for good"
- NHS prescription charges will be frozen at £9.90 for another year
- Poorer households on benefits will receive extra help with energy bills before January's sharp rises
- The VAT cut on electricity bills, which was due to expire in April, will be extended (though it's not clear if this will be announced in the Budget or separately)
- The Government will remove the link between gas and electricity prices, which currently inflates household bills, "in the long term"
- Banks will face higher taxes, with the surcharge on their profits potentially rising from 3% to 8%, making it the Budget’s biggest revenue raiser
- HMRC will be given powers to seize money from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax
- The freeze on rail fares will reportedly not be extended beyond April
- Online retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu will be made responsible for collecting unpaid VAT from sellers to fund a cut in business rates for high street shops
- The thresholds for income tax will be frozen again so another half a million people may be dragged into the higher rate
- January's planned increase in fuel duty will be cancelled
- Pensioners relying solely on the state pension will see their tax-free allowance rise to £13,036, in line with the pension increase, so they don't pay income tax
- Billions in long-term borrowing to invest in defence firms and raise the share of GDP spent on defence (without breaking fiscal rules, as the investments are expected to generate returns)
- The upcoming "Your First Home" scheme will be made more generous to provide greater support for middle-income earners
- The Budget will also assume the Rosebank oil field is approved, which will generate "significant tax revenues"

Have policymakers in the EU, the UK and US states never heard of El Hierro?
A small island with 11,000 residents and plenty of wind. An ideal testing ground for the promise of 100% renewable electricity, before making millions of people depend on it.
They installed wind turbines with more than twice the island’s average electricity demand in capacity, plus pumped hydro storage. Yet in 2025, this system supplied just 44% of its electricity. Diesel supplied the rest.
@mhtncontrarian explains why: during prolonged periods of low wind, the upper reservoir empties. Then the diesel generators have to take over.
If this setup cannot deliver on its promise on a small, windy island, why are politicians so confident it will work on a vastly larger scale?
They keep pushing ahead, with millions of people’s electricity supply at stake.
Alan Mayer retweeted
This Can Not Go On.
Renewables are only viable if they get crippling subsidies.
"The British consumer has been forced over the last two decades to pay a staggering £274 billion to support electricity generated from renewable sources," says @CMorrisonEsq, warning the cost of numerous direct and indirect annual subsidies could "exceed UK defence spending by 2030."
"However many lies are told, the fact remains that running an electricity grid on intermittent wind and solar is for the surviving birds."

The Road to Ruin. 👇
Unusable wind which is there to prop up a net zero fantasy.
So there we have it. Probably the highest day ever in the BM at over £52 million
The final number tends to be a bit higher than the trading figure reported by LCP
This is what Connect & Manage has done... We spent £52 million because we had to throw away wind in Scotland that we built despite knowing we can't use it
Plus NESO not curtailing it before the DA auction meaning instead of gas plant self dispatching it has to be bid on in the BM
