The fact that the FG "facilitated the PPP" should have immediately indicated to you that the dam belongs to the FG and not the OYSG. After assuming power in 2019, Governor Seyi Makinde approached the FG about concessioning the dam so that it can be put to use. Instead, the FG claimed it had concessioned it and over 7 years later, we are still where we were in 2019.
So, no, Governor Makinde did not fail in his promise. It is the FG that has failed the people of Oyo State. Meanwhile, the road to the dam is being fixed by the OYSG under RAAMP.
Uhmn, that's true! He's not known for bad reasons. He's not a Lapiddot & lawless fellow.
Fun fact: 65% of Oyo State people do not know the APM gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State
